Just to update my answer as this thread was awhile ago, for a 2ftx2ft best light is the new XS1500 Pro, 150w and best ppfd spread for the money

I just picked up a MarsHydro s1000 on the black friday sales. Cost me £110 i think. Its in a 80x80 tent, is dimmable too. Its my first led and im in veg currently. Happy so far
