I hope everything goes well with hiding the grow @BilgePump

It can be a right pita having to make a grow and related stuff just disappear :wallbash:

Then you've gotta try to remember where stuff was hidden lol

Hopefuly the Thunder Banana does well outside for you @Ccs141

and we get good enough weather to bring her home to a good finish.

I'm kinda hoping for 5 females lol

4 females and one nice strong male would be ideal,

so yes I'd like to collect some pollen and back cross it,

to practice as much as anything else.

Thanks for dropping by :D

@Shumroom thanks man , shouldn't be too difficult , chances are I'll just remove the obviously weed related bits and maintain that I'm a keen chilli cultivator/rescuer of stricken houseplants who absolutely needs a 1.2m tent full of CFLs :yep:

just stash the filters etc and paper mache over the hole in the ceiling and it'll all be gravy , it's our house so we don't have to bend to meet landlord standards or owt

Breaking News

After soaking all 5 of the Apollo Black Cherry in a shot glass of water,

plus a few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide(this kills off any nasties and provides extra Oxygen into the bargain),

for about 24hrs,

they were then transferred into peat pellets.

The pellets were rehydrated using tepid tap water,

plus some Intense Nutrients- Foundation and a wee sprinkle of jellyfish Mycorrizae,

this should ensure a good start for them :D

I just stuck them in my lung room as it's nice and cosy with the added benefit of me being able to access them easily.

On Friday morning some of the seedlings had started to emerge,

so they were all transferred to the bathroom window sill as my small tent isn't back up yet and the window is there best chance of getting some light.

Today 4 out of the 5 seedlings have emerged from the top of the peat pellets :):)

I'll get some baby pictures up soon lol

All 5 of the seedlings have made an appearance :D

Unfortunately they had to spend a little longer on the bathroom window sill than I had intended,

plus the sun hasn't been as bright as it could have been,

so they're a little leggy lol

I'll sort them out when I pot them up :D

Nothing else to add right now.

  • 4 weeks later...

Thanks very much for the kind words

I'll need to get some fresh photos of the girls,

yes girls

It's looking like I've got at least 3 girls from the 5 seeds :D

I'll probably be potting up over the weekend,

they are still in their first pots,

I'm sure they'll be delighted to get some more fresh compost around their roots,

they should have more space available to move things around by then.

That's all for now.
