End of week 7 (flower) - day 47

Light distance - 30-40cm (100%)

Average temps - 23-31c

Average humidity - 42-52%rh

This week, the plants have been fed:

mono mg - 0.44ml/l

rhizotonic - 0.5ml/l

Flores - 3ml/l

The girls are really starting to put on some weight now. Not the healthiest plants I’ve grown, but to be fair, considering the size of them and the size of their noodle pots, I think things could’ve been worse.

The tent stinks of a variety of pleasant aromas.

In the WG batch, I’m getting a lot of fruity tones, #1 smells like cake, and #2 has surprised me with her smell…to look at she’s meh, but to smell, it’s a very old school kushy smell. Smells like something I smoked years ago and that nostalgia put a smile on my face. Can’t quite pin down exactly what it is.

As for the BB batch…I was *coughs* cleaning my tray :wassnnme:a few days ago and gave a few of the plants a little shake to see if any leaves wanted to fall off…I shook one, then another then another, then I shook BB#4 and a pure lemony ammi smell hit me. If that stays till harvest and comes through with the taste, I will be absolutely over the moon to say the least.

Would love to get better pics, but the smell when I open the tent is becoming quite pungent. That’s when the mrs walks in and gives me the look. :nono:

On the finishing front..........  will it be plain old rusty nail with the 72 dark or just the sugary water to taste? lol

@Head Rose'n'Tail

I like to fill the res with courvoisier for a week pre chop, then harvest a bud a day until the tents finally empty.

Now my reasoning for this is, i saw some dude on the tube do it. He said it’s what all the big growers in cali do and it always promises perfect results.

No, i joke. I just chop them when their ripe, then hang in a dark tent with the low and slow strategy.

I would never have thought one could get results like this in such a small pot. Amazing stuff :yep:

Do the nails have to be rusty? Asking for a friend lol

@Head Rose'n'Tail

Right well if that’s the case, I’m getting out the secret lotions n potions! Terpinator, purpinator rock resinator, bud candy, all that shit lol

@Whatwentwrong

thanks buddy, definitely found some keepers here.

@Gaijin

Thanks mate, it was more of a personal challenge to see what size plants I could grow in such small pots, the blumats definitely lend the upper hand, otherwise there’s no way I could keep up with their drinking requirements lol

Edited to add,

As for rusty nails *kicks tool bucket out of sight* I have no idea what anyone is talking about :wassnnme:

Shame. I was hoping someone would be able to give me the optimal stem-thickness-to-nail-diameter ratio :D

For every inch round the stem you need two inches of nail, or two nails half the size but twice as thick at right angles.

Alternatively you could use rivets but they tend to be on the thin side so even more are needed, maybe four to the inch.

Hope this clears it up for ya bud...:yep:

The end is near.
Wg#1, #3 and bb#1 are all very close to the chop. I’m hoping that the rest won’t be far off, although the back 3 Bruce’s look like they still have a few weeks in them.
