Tegridy Farms
A quick intro... @Amarillo slim has kindly gifted me 6 beans to test out some of his new genetics, warlock x black lime reserve. Now from what I’ve heard about this strain, is that it tastes and smells of sour apples, which makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Right so without further ado, my setup.... • DR60 grow tent (60x60x180) • Lumatek Attis 200 • Ac infinity Cloudline S4 • Carboair 50 I will be growing these in clover multi purpose and feeding with canna terra nutrients. As for final pot size, I haven’t quite made my mind up yet, as I’ve already got 4 dinafem gorilla on the go that are about a week or so old. I’m leaning towards finishing in 3.5’s, with a little bit of topping and training and doing a s.o.g, I think anything bigger than that and things are gonna be a bit cramped. For the last few runs I’ve been using Blumat drippers with good success, but I don’t think they will work well in 3.5’s. So I think il be leaving them out this time. So, seeds arrived last Wednesday, straight into a shot glass of water they went. 24 hours later I housed them in little seedling pots of clover. Tonight, we have 4 out of 6 that have emerged, will wait patiently on the last 2. Soil look a bit wet as id only just gave them some water mixed with a little rhizo. Apologies if the pics aren’t great as using my phone. Will update more over the coming weeks.
Amarillo slim
Nice one @Tegridy Farms Looking forward to this... Should have mentioned before, these may have slightly lower than 100%, as being test seeds mainly for my own use they were just stored in baggy, for a fair while not refrigerated (over a year old now I believe). Why I sent a little more than people asked, hope another or both pop up soon, or if not you're happy with these 4 and can reuse the compost. Tegridy Farms
@Amarillo slim yeah, I’m not too fussed if the other 2 don’t show...8 plants will fill my space within a few weeks of training. The first 4 come up quite quick...after 24 hours no taproots were showing but buried them anyway, 2 days later we had life. I will check the other 2 when my lights come on at 6. @Shumroom Get comfy bud, I’m excited about this one myself.
SkullDuggery
Used to enjoy Warlock back when Magus were still trading. Sounds like an interesting cross. Good luck Edited August 4, 2021 by SkullDuggery
Tegridy Farms
Right so that’s week 1 over, not much to report. Fed with tap water and rhizo. Roots have hit the the bottom, will wait another week or so before potting on to a slightly bigger pot.
Tegridy Farms
End of week 2, and the limelock look very hungry. I should of potted on last Friday but I haven’t had the time. This is a pic from Saturday, and this is pic from earlier, so into new pots they went, here’s a couple of root pics, and finally, in their new pots, fed with 4ml/l rhizo with tap water. (I hate these pots but all my good ones were in use ... It’s only for a few weeks tegs). Hope everyone’s had a good week growing. I will update later in the week. Tegridy Farms
Just a quick update. The girls have bounced back from their overdue pot on and the roots have already hit the bottom of the pots and theres lovely green growth from the tops. Still feeding with tap water and rhizo. The gorilla at the back are showing signs of hunger so I will start feeding them some vega and a dose of mono mg as my tap water cal/mg is off. Oh, and I treated myself to a 60x60 garland tray rather than using individual trays, as I’m growing more than I normally would, makes life so much easier. Tegridy Farms
A few more shots from today, Plants at the back have just had an overdue water/feed (vega 2ml/l, rhizo 2ml/l & mono mg 0.44ml/l). Hence looking limp. Also, I had a sneaky peak at the root development on the limelock, which were only potted up last Tuesday (5 days ago) and they are bursting with roots. So hopefully be able to pot them into their 3.5 litre finals by next week. Another thing I’ve noticed is that these little limelocks have a beautiful stink on them already when being handled. Can’t wait to get them into flower. Booked this week off work, so will also start some training on the dinafem girls over the next few days. Thanks for checking in, Tegs Edited August 22, 2021 by Tegridy Farms
Tegridy Farms
That’s week 3 of veg over for the limelock girls. I potted them into 3.5l pots last night, which will be their last pot up. I will probably let the roots fill in these and then start flower, as it’s already getting crowded in the tent, let’s hope the gorilla don’t stretch too much. So another week or two of veg. To be honest I’m debating culling one of the gorillas, she’s been a mutant from seed and doesn’t seem to be improving...will make my mind up over the next week. The limelock are still being fed tap water and rhizo (4ml/l). The gorilla, I’ve increased vega to 2.6 ml/l and kept feeding rhizo (2ml/l) & mono Mg (0.44ml/l). Tegs. Tegridy Farms
End of week 4. Things are getting a little tight in the tent. I moved the limelock further from the light and within days have near caught up to the height of my gorilla. The gorilla still seem very hungry, so I will probably up their feed on the next watering. They don’t look happy to me. Some close ups of the limelocks, @Amarillo slim I know I’ve said it before but these girls smell absolutely gorgeous, looking forwards to the flower show. Flipped them to 12/12 last night, as roots have near filled their pots, and my space is now pretty full. Still not given any nutes to the limelock other than rhizotonic at 4ml/l. Lights are now at 100% roughly 40cm from canopy. Ive decided not to do much/hardly any training this run (none on the limelock), but I will strip most of what’s under the canopy of the gorilla over the next few days. (Edit) Just been to water the girls, and now debating topping the gorilla by a node or two... Thanks for checking in, Tegs. Tegridy Farms
Quick update. I’ve done some measurements and I’ve worked out that I can get away with using my blumats....so no more stretching to reach the back. So I’ve spent most of this evening setting up my blumat system. Here’s a pic of limelock #1 out of the tent for the last time till chop. This one plant in particular out of the four has stretched the most. #1 is the one in the middle. I’ve also had a tidy up at the bottom of the gorilla and stripped everything under the canopy. Il let the limelocks finish stretching before doing the same with them. Ive also taken cuttings from each of the limelocks and will dedicate my next grow to one of them, as long as that’s cool with you @Amarillo slim? Will be updating more over the next few days. Whatwentwrong
The tent looks rammed. A proper sea of green. I don’t know if you googled any black lime reserve crosses or worked lines but they seem to produce some massive plants. Black lime madness is one that comes to mind but BLR itself can be huge. im glad you got your blue mats working. When I squeezed 9 plants in my tent last time I had to buy one of those pressure sprayers so I could get the wand thing down to the plants at the back. This automation is the way to go. Just need to dial the humidity settings on my control board and get some drip rings I think to evenly distributed the water when the pump kicks off. Then job done. im sure Amarillo’s rules where: keep a mum for yourself but don’t pass it around. Also no s1’s or crossing his work. Which is all perfectly fair. Anyway isn’t keeping a mum a compliment. The vigour and the root growth it has was an eye opener if it calms the mind and tastes like apples too it’ll be a real winner.
