Greeting fellow swamp monsters - Update time ! So this plot consists of Lemon Drizzle , Freezeland + lemon og and IBL S1. These girls where planted out in on the 7 and 8th th of May. The actual growth in 3 months is impressive.

The plot has had a mixed bag of weather recently. Last week was wind and rain with a some 20- 30 mph wind. So i was walking in expecting some carnage. Each time i arrive i see the swamp growing in size.
Its actually quite hard to take decent close up photos because of the height of the plants and fact is a freaking jungle down here.

This is what i was greeted to.

Some of the plants looked abit bedraggled but nothing really to worry about.

I noticed two of the Lemon Drizzle had broken branches.

This is normal after a storm. I was just pleased to see them all standing.

I took the opportunity to check each bag and its supports and i think i timed it perfectly with the larger supports. The swamp bags them selves are holding out for now and i'm generally happy with the strength of them . On closer inspection the main soil mass and roots is rock hard and strong. I can't wait to have a look at the soil when the harvest is done

Each plant is easily above the 4 foot support pole. This is getting abit mental now and harder to manage.
As these little plants are now turning into Christmas trees - I'm praying they all start flowering soon as the larger they get the harder they are to maintain.

I can also for time ever say I've never seen stems as large as on any outdoor plants in July. These photos don't quite do them justice.

The IBL looked like they need a N boost as they are just beginning to flower and look a little hungry. They probably used up the existing N in the soil mix so i'll need to give them a top feed with the fish oil nutrient.
These girls seem to grow long and thin.

I noticed they display the slightly pink flower of DFG which is great because i hoping to get some funky phenos from this batch.

When ever i go to the swamp i'm always abit jumpy and i never stay around for long. I tend to get abut paranoid at this time of year due to the possibility of getting caught or ripped. Hence why i'm trying to keep my head down and stay out of dodge. Lemon Drizzle is fast growing beast that does well in veg in a swamp environment. From what i've seen from other diaries on here. This could be the new DFG. Brush against her and you get this amazing hydro smelling citrus smell that smells delightful

This swamp has been quite damp for the majority of the summer but i noticed after 3 days of solid sun all the surface water has evaporated. The surrounding vegetation is really overgrown and serves as camouflage to my naughty swamp garden.
I'll have a trim back in my area of the swamp before harvest just to free up some space and improve the airflow abit, but for the moment it provides the perfect cover.

I was thinking of investing in some more supports actually. They are gonna need it at this rate.

daaamn looking brilliant!! Are there many benefits to growing in a swamp? Your plants seem pretty huge, would your pot/bag size be the main reason for this?
