seb88
Right I've had the bank hol weekend to give them both a good sampling and here's my go at a smoke report... Quick Gorilla Popping open the jars you are hit with a gassy smell with a slight sickly sweetness to it. The buds are a fairly light green colour and have a lovely frosty coating to them. The buds are ball shaped and fairly dense. When you break them up the pungent gassyness hits you, and you get a bit of an earthy hint coming through. The smoke is actually really smooth. The aroma's come through in the taste but it's not in anyway overpowering. The high is lovely. Quite mellow at first but slowly creeps over you. Really relaxing stone and makes you want to sit and chill with some tunes on. I got a bit lost watching endless YouTube videos! Overall this is a lovely looking herb that has some great bag appeal and smoke to suit! Ocean grown cookies Now the gorilla was fairly stinky but the cookies aroma totally overpowers it. It's a really complex smell that's hard to describe, there's some pine, earthyness, sour diesel and a bit of a lime/apple smell coming through. Going back to the gorilla after sniffing this up you can hardly smell a thing! The buds range from light green to purple. They are a bit smaller than the gorilla buds bit are even denser, they sound like a stone when you drop one! I've never grown buds with as much frost as these, and they are probably the most appealing buds to look at I've ever seen. The flavour again is really complex. The pine and earth taste comes through but is complimented by the fuelly taste. There's also a slight liquorice taste to it. It really is delicious, I've not really smoked anything like it. It gives me massively thickly throat while smoking it. The high is fairly knockout. First there's a really happy mellow head high, swiftly followed by a heavy relaxing stone. Similar to gorilla in that it makes you want to chill out. Probably not the best for a daytime smoke unless you've got a decent tolerance or are happy to mong out for the day! In summary both strains are pretty fucking fantastic and will keep me happy through the lockdown. Happy days! Thanks again to @Dinafem-Mark and @Intense Nutrients Matt for supplying the excellent nutrients and genetics, and anyone else for taking the time to read/comment. This concludes my comp diary! All the best Cheers Seb

seb88
Cheers @Intense Nutrients Matt The intention was to write this up yesterday but the mass sampling got the better of me and I couldn't string a sentence together

I wasn't expecting half as much yield from the cookies, you can see the mixing bowl looks fairly empty compared to the gorillas but the buds are very tight and compact! There's some lovely smells coming from them jars Next and final update will be a smoke report. Been looking at these daily for far too long without having a sample!! Cheers Seb Now this is what I call a grow with a very happy ending Smashing result with some amazing looking flowers Love the smoke report to mate Ending this adventure in style All the best Mark..
