seb88
Hi all Bit late to the party but I'm finally ready to make a start on these! Big thanks to @Dinafem-Mark for the seeds and @Intense Nutrients Matt for the nutes hopefully I can do these some justice! Without further ado... Seeds were dropped into water on 9th December at 6pm. I'll let them sit here for 24hours, then will give them a push to let them sink for another ~3 hours before placing into root root cubes. I'll try keep them around 22degC for the first few days until they pop their heads. I've dropped all 10 seeds with the aim to run 4 of each strain. My setup Lights - 2 x 600w diy COB array, consisting of 12 cxb3590 COBs run at 50w each Tent - 2.4x1.2x2.2m green qube Medium - 100% Coco Pots - Airpots (1l > 5l > 20l) Extract - 6" Phresh hyperfan stealth, carboair CF Intake - passive Nutrients - Intense coco range Best of luck to all involved! seb88
Cheers guys Checked on the seeds after 22 hours in water, expecting to see but real change but every single one has cracked open! The quick gorillas are already living up to their name and all had a little tap root poking out. I then presoaked some root riot cubes in a solution of kickstart (4ml/litre) and foundation roots (2ml/litre). Seeds were dropped 10mm down into the cubes and covered up with a corner piece of the cube. These went into a heated propogator and put away in a dark cupboard. Now we wait

Have a great Xmas mate All the best Mark..
seb88
Cheers @Dinafem-Mark hope you have a good Xmas and new year Quick update on the girls. They've all popped their heads above the ground. The quick gorillas were all up 24 hours after going in the riot cubes, the OGC took another couple of days to show, you can see the final one is just popping it's head up now. I potted up into 1litre airpots, leaving 15mm or so at the top to backfill with Coco once they've stretched a bit. You can see the quick gorillas have already been backfilled, OGC should follow in a day or two. They are basking under a 150w quantum board currently, once the floorspace is filled out a bit more they'll go under the COBs Cheers Seb
seb88
Hope you all had a good Xmas Here's a couple of shots taken this morning. There is some yellowing mainly to the gorillas and I'm thinking they are a little hungry so will up the feed to 3ml/litre (A+B) today. The gorilla at the top left of the image seems to have the most yellowing, and the leaves look a little patchy, hopefully upping the feed will solve this. I'm going to give the tray a wash later as it's looking a bit tatty from the last grow! Cheers Seb

seb88
Another week gone and they all seem to be looking fairly happy. They are all on 3ml/litre of A+B and root stim. I"m also giving them 0.125ml/litre of silicon (Buddha tree). They will all get potted up into 5litre pots in the next couple of days, a few days after I will do some defol of the biggest fan leaves, and will give them a top at the 4th node after they've had chance to recover from this. seb88
Alright Since the last update I've potted the plants up into 6 litre airpots. They've also been topped at the 4th node, and have also had the 6 biggest fan leaves removed to promote new growth. Nutrients seem to be doing the job nicely After the defol. I've removed the yellow looking Gorilla (just off shot in next photo). I'll also remove one of the OGC's soon so I'll end up with 4 of each strain. Probably the smallest one in the bottom right below. I'm now at a point where I think the gorillas need to go into flower soon, one is already 14" tall. The OGC's are a little behind (7-10"). Ideally I would have put them both into flower at the same time, but I think they really need another week or two so I might set up another tent to keep them in veg a bit longer.
