Dynavap induction heater

Hey All

 

Wonder if someone might be able to help, point me in the right direction.

 

Trying to put one of these together, but I'm not getting enough heat.

 

I will be running off batteries but am testing off a mains supply.

The coils are quite snug against the glass with not too much gap between turns, struggling to get them tighter.

I've tried it at varying heights, some heat, but no click.

 

Here's a pic, any advise would be very greatly received (my torch is nearly out of gas),
