K-B
Hello fellow sweet seeds growers. As the name suggests, this is my diary for blow mind auto. Firstly I'd like to say thank you to the sweet seeds team for another great competition and prizes, and secondly good luck to everyone who has entered. I was torn between a few autos from the catalog and couldn't decide, so I went for the classic "name in the hat" and pulled out blow mind. I've grown S.A.D a few times and loved it, and I'm an amnesia fan so hopefully a combination of the two will produce something extra nice. Instead of my usual 4 autos I have planted just 2 and once they are around 4-6 weeks off I am going to put the other two in. My plan is to get a little perpetual grow of autos on and only have 2 plants to crop at a time. This is my first diary for some time so this is exiting and hopefully I can do a good job of it. My set up is DS60 tent 5" rhino extraction fan (set on half power with a variispeed controller) 5" rhino hobby carbon filter Passive intake 400w lumatek digital ballast set on 250w with sunmaster dual spectrum bulb (soon to be replaced with a custom led from diyleduk) 450w mini oil radiator for the extra cold nights this winter. Can be turned down to 100w Biobizz light mix to start Plagron bat mix to finish 6l final pots Nutrients are bio fish mix, Humboldt equilibrium, bio bloom and PM root stim The seeds have been put directly into the substrate to germinate are currently sitting in my airing cupboard. I have some Cream Mandarin XL drying in the tent right now, once that is dried and jarred I'll be moving the seeds into the tent. The mandarin should be dry just in time for when these seeds germinate. I don't think I've missed anything so here is some photos SEEDS IN PACKET THE TWO SEEDS SELECTED SEED 1 IN SOIL SEED 2 IN SOIL COVERED UP AWAITING GERMINATION (CLEAR CUPS ARE COLOURED BLACK ON BOTTOM 3/4) SOME OF THE CREAM MANDARIN XL CURRENTLY DRYING I'll update as soon as these babies show their heads. Thanks for looking in and all the best.

K-B
Thanks for the kind words fellas. Today is day 2 from seed. They come up yesterday but i consider day 1 when their first leaves are established. There's not much to show to be honest. Only one seeds has germinated. They were both planted in the same substrate at the same time and in the same conditions. One is well on its way, but the other is showing no signs of germinating at all. The seeds not opened in the slightest and they were planted Saturday. It's a little frustrating as it'll delay my plans and I don't have a lot of seeds, but shit happens and it isn't the end of the world. Also it's the first ever time I've had germination problems with sweet seeds so I know theyre seeds are good. Any way here's the seedlings and some great temps As always, thanks for looking and I wish every one of you abundant harvests of the best cannabis Edited November 23, 2018 by K-B

K-B
Thanks @countrock. The other seed isn't going to germinate. I've planted another one so there's a few days delay but that won't hurt. Plus it's the first time I've ever had a seed not germinate from sweet seeds so it's no drama. The seedling is doing well. I'm pretty happy with my environment and shes growing fast. I'll get some pictures later. The other seed was planted yesterday so hopefully she'll be up soon. I've also ordered my LED now so that will be interesting. My first switch over. Cheers
K-B
THE SECOND SEED HAS GERMINATED. HAPPY DAYS. must of been a rare dud seed that didnt germinate. I'm glad the other has come through though, I checked this morning that there was nothing, look 10 mins ago and there she was Temps have been the same which is great. I'll give it another week then start some root stimulant. The older seedling is 5 days from seed now and I'll call the newly germinated seed day 1 from tomorrow. The leaves are a tiny droopy on the older seedling, I let her get a bit dry but I've since rectified that. Not many pics but here we go SEEDLINGS Edited November 26, 2018 by K-B
K-B
Plants are now under LED. Got a quantum board from @diyleduk. Exited to make the change as I've never used LED. The seedlings are good. One is droopy because I accidently let her dry out too much. The younger is a picture of health. I haven't got pictures of the seedlings tonight. I'll do that tomorrow. But I do have a few pics of the quantum board Cheers
K-B
The older seedling is day 9 and a little sick. I let her dry out a bit but the new growth is health so it's going to be ok. The younger seedling is day 3 and a picture of health. I'm very happy with this LED. It's still early days but my temps have been perfect, electric saving is noticeable already and the overnight growth was great. Thanks @diyleduk I haven't pictured the sick seedling, I will when she's perked up. Here's some photos of the younger seedling and their new light Cheers for looking
