Nice to hear you're finally happy with the lemon turds mate Looks good shit to me Give the hydro a try mate, you may like it. One thing tho, you will need plenty of head room because they grow big, and quick. Ive trimmed 3 of the mobys yesterday, finished at midnight, and they yield looks decent enough. I don't think I will crack a gram per watt with these, but quality over quantity I say. a lot of the top buds have the purps on them, which looks nice. as long as it smokes well, that's what matters. Each Moby has pretty much filled 2 layers of my jumbo drier net, so whatever that turns out to be, like I would guess 6 to 8 ounces per plant, which is good, but the 4th one is bigger than the others so maybe a wee bit more off it. Im going back in this afternoon, want to get the final moby and at least the 2 lemon turds done today . Did I tell you how much I hate trimming yeah? Yes, I thought I did
badbillybob
snip, snip, snip, fukn snip snip, bloody snip, snip snip, etc etc. Well ive finished the snipping now, thank fook, . Heres a few random pics. I ended up almost filling 2 of the jumbo drier nets, all bar 1 &1/2 rows, and the lemons turned out not as bad as I thought, I think they filled 3 rows between them, moby no 4 was the biggest yielder at 2 &1/2 rows, and the criticals filled 2 rows per plant too. Technical eh, 2 rows, listen to me, ha ha..... Foot long colas and manky trainers shot= check My pert young buttocks have a perfect circle imprinted in them from sitting on that bloody bucket for the past 3 days, well 1/2 days 1/3rd of moby 4, id chopped most of it, but you can see the big long colas it produced, well impressed with this one the nets and then the lemon haze pre-chop and the criticals with the fans removed. The criticals were really impressive, about the same yield wise as the mobys, but 4 weeks less veg. If they smoke well, im doing them again, but with a longer veg. The buds were solid, really dense, and covered in trichs. Lovely. Anyway its done now, just leaving them to dry, at about 17 degrees, . A nice slow dry will be fine by me, it helps keep the taste and smell that way see. Any guesses on what these drying nets hold, weight wise. Im thinking maybe 3-4 ounces per layer, what do you reckon?
badbillybob
Anyone up for some bud porn. I was just checking the purple mobys for dryness tonight, and was passing, thought id take a pic or two. the purps are coming out on them. I think these will be good, he said, without a hint of understatement Thanks again to Dinafem Mark, for the beans. I would recommend these frosty ladies to anyone.
badbillybob
well the first 3 plants have been drying since last Thursday, and are pretty much dried. Ive stuck them in a big plastic tub with a hygrometer, to see what the RH is like, I will check back in an hour or two. I decided to weigh them up, just so I will have anidea about how much a layer of bud drier net holds - 5odd ounces give or take, it turns out. So I have only weighed up the first 3 plants, as I trimmed number 4 on the Friday, and am genuinely shocked at what the scales told me. Plant 1. = 284 grams plant 2 = 323 grams Plant 3 = 282 grams. The 4th one was the biggie, I will weigh it up tomorrow night. So 10 ounces each for 2 of them and 11 &1/2 from the one, the I had to tie up. Im delighted. Its smelling lovely too, the slow dry has helped loads with this. I might lose a few grams here and there if the humidity is up a bit, but I cant complain...….
badbillybob
weighed up the rest tonight, they are dry now. moby number 4 = 346g or just over 12 ounces. criticals, with a 10 day veg = 322g or 11&1/2 ounces for the 2 of them super turnip hazes , a none too shabby (considering the state of them = 283 or 10 ounces. so they are off for a cure and I think that concludes this diary. thanks for everyone who followed it and contributed, its much appreciated, And thanks to Dinafem Mark for the beans, nice one mate, they smell divine... viva moby purps !!

badbillybob
Yeah, im happy with it. I smoked some moby purps, and its a great smoke, I have to say, its bloody lovely. Anyone unsure about which seeds to choose for their next adventure, or contemplating their next grow, do yourself a favour and get some of these. They stink, they taste lovely, they get you mangled and they produce well, whats not to like? I went for a 2nd opinion, I gave a mate some to try, without telling him what it was, and asked for his verdict. He sent back a text which simply said "10 out of 10" Cant argue with that .
samhigh
@badbillybob great work brother, congrats on the harvest. very nice yield also, your best growing happens when you have some in the jar. drop on by whats the smoke like? love to see what flavors you come out with. sam
badbillybob
I jarred these, because they felt dry and the hygrometer read 59%, but they were not properly dried so they went back on the drier nets, so the weights could probably lose 10%. Smoke wise, well its way too early for a proper smoke report, ive just had a few moby purps joints, and they have zero cure. despite that it tastes smooth and potent, and is fairly strong stuff. im no canna-ssoiur , so am not great with flavours, but id say it tastes fruity, oh and tasty. im not helping much am I?
