jadenugs
Yeah man, being tall will defo help. Mine was a big wide lateral grown plant and it had also fell over touching the ground due to strong winds. I just propped it up off the ground instead of fully righting it as I didn't want to disturb the roots further but it obviously wasn't enough. A full bed is the way to go dude for better airflow and less weeds I've been lazy the last couple of years and only dug holes but I'll be going back to turning the whole plot. Also allows the roots to travel further with ease looking for water
Guest
Been a while since I last visited, didn't want to visit till I thought they would be ready. Turns out they are not ready. Also, with the storm a while back, they all had been blown about badly. When I got there, one was split from where it was topped, the others where leaning into each other , all staked back up now That's the two leaning together That's up straighter now Few bits of mould but nothing to worry about yet, should have visited sooner as if I had staked them up, they would be better by now, oh well, live an learn as they say. About 10 days left I'd say, just hope the weather changes to nice weather, showing a storm coming the weekend with more high winds. They are 8-9 feet tall with buds everywhere so as long as the mould don't come quick, I should get loads from these. Thanks for popping by
Dinafem-Mark
@Jack010 some hardy plants brother With around 7 more days left and not much mold showing I'm hoping out high hopes for this grow Not long now mate All the best Mark..
Guest
Plants blown sideways even after being tied up. Poxy storm. This welsh weathers shite for growing this time of year. Loads of Rot and no where near ready. Left it all for another week. Weather looks ok for the next few days. Come on you critical bastards, survive till next week
Dinafem-Mark
I see your also getting hit with the storms mate. Its been a brutal season and heart wrenching to see so much beautiful bud turned to rot All you can do it ride it out and salvage what you can my friend. Fingers crossed that you get something from this season Until next time All the best Mark
Guest
Went back to see if there was some buds to salvage Look at the size of the stem on this, that's a plastic pint cup Big plants 8-9 feet the two I cut Look how much bud I got TRY NOT TO LAUGH. All that from two of the biggest plants of the season. Inside of every bud was rotting and not ready , airy buds as well , still rotting. Gutted but at least I got a joint from it. Its all going to the soil, rot in piece Guess that's the end of this diary, will do a smoke report if I can remember which buds they are after hanging them to dry. Hung the last lot up stoned and can't remember which was which of the super61 , frisian dew , mango sapphire and cindy gnome 99. Hopefully I will tell by the smell of each. inapond13
Really sad pictures of the bud rot, always horrible to find and especially to that degree. They were great looking plants up until then and looked like they would have yielded big. Nice bit of stem porn. Hope that but you did get is super tasty and potent. Roll on 2019...

This time it's all hanging on its own not to get mixed up so a smoke report will come later to end this diary In order - critical +2.0 - mango sapphire - super#61 All the rotting remains have gone to the soil ROT IN PEICE Dry , cure then smoke report to follow. Dinafem-Mark
That last batch of plot pictures is devastating and a real shame to see. So much good medicine just rotted away. One of the biggest issues with outdoor growing Atleast you got a little and will look out for some smoke reports when the time is right. Not how I wanted to see this diary end but when dealing with mother nature I've learnt to expect the unexpected Hope to see you back next season mate Until then All the best Mark.. Bud Wiser
I feel your pain .. why didn't you use it all for making oil? As far as I'm aware, rot only affects the plant tissue .. the trichs are unaffected .. I've been putting my rotted buds into the oil-making pile for a while now, and I'm still alive!

Guest
So decided to sample the critical last night before bed . Couldnt sleep cos it give me an up high buzz. muppet, I was up doing dishes and clothes washing till God knows what time. Missis wasn't impressed with me. Will smoke the rest in the daytime from now on. Love the taste, It's a fruity spicy mix leaving a pine taste in your mouth. Thats the end of the diary. Thanks for all your comments. Will see you all next year. @Dinafem-Mark Thanks for the seeds mate. I will put the remaining 2 seeds I got in one of my new plots next year . It's an open field/ledge on a mountain with all day sun so hopefully won't lose them to rot. They are a beast of a plant. Massive with buds everywhere so better plot will get better results.
