I feel your pain dude, and i'm sure i'm in one of the wettest areas too (or very close). I'll have to look it up There seems to be a bit more variation in the DFG's this year. Last year all mine finished early sept, and they were my saviour in a very wet/mouldy season? This year, they're all a bit later, with variety in shapes and finishing times. I'm just glad ive got my indoor on the go now too. If i was relying on my outdoor crop i'd be on tight rations. I know you know mate but keep covering all bases, early and late finishers, and keep ya fecking fingers crossed!! Hope life's good with you
flighty
Hey @the lone deranger not bad here, thanks. I went out to the plot again today and ended up ripping 4 plants out of the ground. They all had rot running thru the middle of the buds. Strange you say about the different finish times this year, makes it sound like last year was f1 and these are f2. Maybe @panik can clarify? Plenty of later finishers out and I had a tidy amount from autos, got it well covered

tsk
good thing you never watered them, eh? nah, dont mean to be a smugcunt, just wondering what could be the difference. maybe the fungi in the soil needs more maintenance and the scorched period left it under developed so that come the sudden drenching there werent the anti-fugal defense system a more reasonable exposure to water would have helped develop in time... maybe... stoned wonderings... i know nothings... ripping rotted plants out the ground... what a shitter. a lesser gardener would be brought to a knee, but you sir, you take it in your stride. like a gentleman. that might not be an inappropriate title for you B... beezee - the gentleman's guerrilla grower!
flighty
@tsk there's a good reason I didn't water that plot... They didn't need it It seems there's a lot of underlying water there, so once the roots were down they had everything they needed. A lot of water runs off the mountains here too, there could be a spring or underground lake filtering water down as well. I think I'm going to go chop the mould free, fully cooked s6 in the garden later, then aquire more clones of the same cut for next year

flighty
I finally got some decent dfg buds home, they're from a later durban leaning pheno that stinks of aniseed. There was still a lot of rot, but I reckon I saved about 3oz. Still got one out, but that ain't looking good and it's much smaller. So, maybe 6oz from 10 plants... I can see why this would be am excellent strain for anyone East of Wales, but that ain't me I've got a couple of beans left that I'll put out next year just in case the weather here is better. Cheers @panik gutted they didn't work out, but that's how it goes Edited October 3, 2018 by beezee
