I dunno how long she is supposed to go but I swear im seeing a few brown pistils already lol. Rock hard nugs that give of sweet sherbet smells when you squeeze them. Here is one of her buds close up and u can see the Sweet Seeds Quality Im wondering if this girl will reach 9 weeks , forget about 10 lol. Over and out for another week. I like a good bit of amber and as couchlocky as I can so I don't mind over cooking this girl. But I expect she is easily choppable at bang on 8 weeks and she will yield heavy. Of course ive had mad temps in my part of the world and this room has been around 32 at the top and 29 ish at the sides behind the plants at their level. You can see a bit of heatstress on the leaves as these particular colas are only inches from the 600 and the 315cmh. I couldn't have done it growing normally in my loft with such little height everything would be crisping with the 600 on by itself. Just golf ball sized nugs of hardness lol. See what I mean about trimming. I love this plant it has to be said,,, again lol. im due to fill the res again tomorrow and im looking at probably a 9 week flowering for the room. So next week im gonna go quarter strength bloom and quarter strength bit of grow and the week after, if they make it plain water. I may stretch them a few days past 9 weeks if im waiting on any other plants . But generally I could say this is probably a good 8 week strain , easy. smokie1 b c f c Posted July 8, 2018 Share Posted July 8, 2018 looking great mate. i get you on the temps lately its f in too hot today. them buds on the gorilla girl are dense like golf balls for sure. if i ewas you mate looking at the odd brown bits on the buds, i woud chop her asap, and dry out in there if you have too, just hang it hole so it drys for longer. lots of people getting bud rot the past 3 weeks due to the heat were having in the uk. this pic of yours below you can see the brown spot, that will turn to rot rapid at 30c plus. hope you get a cool crop with no mold brother. just giving my opinion s1 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zztopbudz Posted July 8, 2018 Author Share Posted July 8, 2018 Cheers mate im fucked because I aint got no where else to dry a plant, the outer loft is about 45 Ive been inspecting them and that brown bit you see was where I used to use a chain to hang the light cage up onto a beam so I could get in there . Anyway around week 3 to 4 I did it and burned them particular colas a bit , they never fully recovered and from that point and have always looked brown , discoloured. Touch wood I have never had bud rot in this loft in the past and now I have double the air flow. You could also be seeing some brown pistils because ive got quite a few. I will be inspecting them daily don't you worry. If I can confirm bud rot I will have to try and jig up a shaded bit in the other room or something. Im thinking about knocking up a clone box that can be used for drying a plant or 2 as well but I cant fucking work in the outer loft cos its approaching 50 up there lol. She has fattened in the past week and is doing everything that tells me she is finishing. Absolutely rock solid dense as fuck nugs on this girl and here you can see probably the worst of the heat stress that the room has generally has a bit of with this heat wave we are having and me being in a loft. She is gonna be a breeze to trim as she really is all bud and very little leaves. This past week ive had issues with the colas falling forwards towards the light and having bits and pieces of colas getting singed. Ive had to re tie a lot of the colas back against their selves to get them away from the bulb a bit. Considering this girl had the smallest amount of veg , she could well end up the best yielder in the room. By far her buds are the most dense and the size of her buds are also very impressive. Now this last week possibly they are on plain water now and I think it will finish her up lovely. I cant wait to flower her again now I know how she buds. From Saturday when I took these pics to Tuesday morning I have defo seen the calyxes on this girl swell even more , so im thinking she is gonna get fatter in the coming 7 to 10 days. over and out What an absolute beauty zz 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I suppose I flowered her at around 12 inches and she has probably got to 3 ft now. But vertical lighting like I do it does have an effect on them so they don't stretch up for the light as much as when the bulb is above them. I expect she doubled and a little bit is all. Im not sure if I will go one more complete week we will see as im waiting on the other plants as I have to dry in this room. An excellent bud to leaf ratio on this girl, gonna be so easy to strim. Some of the tightest nugs I have ever grown I think These ones have the most airflow as they are bang on the filter but are nearest the 2 bulbs. Still a bit of crisping here and there aint to bad when you consider im in a loft and the heat wave we are having is the hottest in years and still im managing to survive and produce some decent bud. She has produced from the top to the bottom, no waste popcorn bud , all dense fat nugs. The next update will be the chop , she is on plain water now and using up her stored goodness from the leaves lovely. Still her calyxes are swelling I think. Much faster finish than I expected so I'll probably take it at eight weeks.
