Chemdawg and 707 truthband

Recommended Posts

Looking awesome in the groom.

If you haven't tried Chemdawg yet, I suspect you might like it. My own one female already harvested is sticky as fuck and the most resinous strain I've ever grown. It makes bucket loads of awesome dry sift that requires no heat to mould into hash. Chemdawg is a great strain for me as it is excellent for wake and bake and unlocks my creativity and also leaves me raring to go if I need to do something, but it's also great for evenings as well as it doesn't leave my brain racing all night long in perpetual insomnia like another strain I have.

Enjoy!

Think I can just make them out in that jungle buddy.

How have you found the stretch on the 7s??

Mine have stayed fairly short, was hoping for abit more height but I'm not disappointed with the way she is progressing!

23 days into bloom and flowering is going well, the Chemdogs are more vigorous in bloom than the 707 Truthbands.

That's what I'm seeing also my friend  :)

From what I've been observing 707 is staying nice and short. Very little stretch but still producing well ;)

Lovely looking tent now in full bloom mode :yep:

Looking good brother and thanks for finding the time to do a diary update  :)

I'll be back in on the next :bong:

Kind regards

Mark.

@Tete not just you my friend. Looks like the 707 truthband is a strain with very minimal stretch :bong:

Good info to know :yep:

@GreengoStarr thanks for the description, it sounds as good as it’s looks so far then, I am impressed with her vigor :yep:

@Tete I have a bit of a mix of heights from about 4.5ft with pot to about 6ft with pot but I always crowd my plants in so they and up competing for the light. I have the height so I don’t mind, it’s a pretty unique strain growth wise for me, I’m impressed!

@HSO-Mark These plants are well developed for this stage of bloom, the cmh light and plant reaction to the insect frass helps but these genetics are vigorous :)

Day 32 bloom, some of the bigger plants were going a bit pale so they all got a dose of epsoms along with 1.2ml/l bloom.

They are getting 23 litres of water between them all.

Ive taken the pictures with a pair of grow room glasses in front of the camera hence the blue tint but I think it helps clarity.

Thanks for the comments :yinyang:

Pro tip :bong:

It helps tremendously mate and eliminates those horrid yellow lines produced by hid lighting  :bong:

The plants are loving the cmh and I'm seeing more and more positive grows with this type of lighting.

You can see the girls sole focus at the moment is on bud formation and may I say trichome production is not looking to bad either :)

At this stage I would think about adding some supplemental support for those huge buds being produced as over the coming weeks they are only going to improve in size  :yep:

Everything is looking in tip top shape mate  :bong:

As always thank you for finding the time to do a diary update  :yep:

I'll drop back in on the next  :bong:

Kind regards

Mark..

Hi, day 40 bloom and the flowers are swelling well.

They are getting 1.4ml/l of bloom and seem content at this. I’m watering every other day lately with this warm spell, not that I’m complaining :)

A couple of the 707 Truthbands are starting to purple up, one more so then the other, I tried to capture this in one of the photos.

There’s a nice mix of smells, I don’t lift my plants in and out at this stage so I can’t coment on individuals but as a whole it’s an assault on the nostrils!

Morning friends, I’m just over 50 days in and the finish line is appearing over the horizon, I’m estimating 60 days give or take and the most of these will be ready for my personal tastes.

I need to get some 6 foot canes for the next run as I’ve had some falling and breakage, first world problems eh?

Things are going well mostly, my only disappointment is that I’ve over fed or overwatered two of the truthbands giving me some necrosis on some of the leaves but they are mostly green and purple!

The feed has been reduced to 1ml/l bloom across the board as requirements reduce.

The Chemdogs are absolute yield monsters and are foxtailing in their final push, I’m impressed so far :)

The 707 truthbands are ripening more quickly and smell really unique, I’m relishing the samples once cured :yep:

10 more day will be perfect  :)

Get that flush started mate as the finish line is in sight ;)

Some stonking looking buds. Really impressive size and dripping in crystals  :yep:

Not long now brother then you can get those scissors out and your fingers sticky  ;)

Typically the 707 is a 60 day strain and ChemDawg usually 70 a 60 day harvest will be spot on for the 707 and I have seen lots if ChemDawg harvested at the 60-65 day window ;)

Super work so far  ;)

Kind regards

Hi all, I’ve been lazy and not updated, everything is down and jarred, I have really enjoyed growing these strains and I’ll update further with some smoke reports, thanks @HSO-Mark for the opportunity :yep:

i don’t weight my harvests but this produced 11, 2 litre kilner jars full or mostly full so it must be a decent amount.

Here is some pre harvest shots, I didn’t photograph the actual harvest as it’s a dark time for me lol  I’ve been enjoying the results in the sunshine, hope you all are too :george:

Congratulations on a successful harvest my friend  ;)

Those buds really did fill out and the trichome coverage looked crazy :yep:

Some monster looking buds and some really beautuful colours being shown at the harvest day :bong:

A nice read and an even better end result  ;)

Enjoy that dank and frosty HSO goodness and I'll look out for a smoke report when the time is right :bong:

Kind regards

@Jibba jabba hi, the chems are pretty potent, a lot more stoney than high which I wasn’t expecting. My girls are piney and one is a lot like og kush crosses.

Well worth a run, they yield well and are a breeze to trim :yep: thumbs up from me!

Hi @HSO-Mark thanks for the kind words, my girls were a pleasure to grow and all who have shared some have give positive comments so I’m made up :) HSO is in the quality breeders list for me based on this grow, thanks mate.

707 Truthband

I pulled the sample bud pictured from a jar, it has been curing for about a month now bringing out those more subtle flavours, she is a colourful girl not only visually but to my palate.

Once ground up I get a citrus aroma but with more going on in the background, it makes me go in for a second sniff quite often!

I vape using a mighty, so after a bowl in it I find the flavour carries through from the aromas, it’s got a musky lemon kind of taste which I find appealing.

The high is balanced being just slightly more heady than narcotic and I find this head high gets a lot more pronounced the more I vape, this is how I like my canna as it’s a great social feeling so fun to share and have some laughs :yep:

The 707’s are the plants I think about when I am in work and looking forward to when I get home so top work to all concerned, she’s a beauty.
