Chemdawg and 707 truthband

Recommended Posts

@Tete @blackpoolbouncer Thanks for dropping by, I hope to get to see what has made the Chemdawg a staple across the pond for so many years!

@doobie01 that’s a Netatmo weather station, it lets me monitor what’s going on in there remotely, the other end of the usb is a good old 3 pin plug :) cheers for calling in.

  • 2 weeks later...

Two weeks on from my last photos and things are moving at pace.

All the plants are well bedded into their 6.5l pots with roots a plenty poking out of the holes.

I’m going to finish up the month then flip them into 12/12, I want to give the leader shoots some extra time to stretch out a bit more.

Feed wise they are getting 0.5ml/l of grow bar the one feed where they are getting the ecothrive charge at the recommended dose.

They are all looking quite sturdy and are sexually mature so ripe to go.  :)

Hope all are well :yep:

@In-the-night-garden i haven’t had any windburn on any leaves since I started using it and it does a good job of circulating the air, the only negative is it’s quite noisey, too noisey if you share the room you grow in.

I do think it could be quietened a fair bit with a length of ducting attached to the intake side.

Really impressive growth since your last update  :bong:

You've got some might fine looking plants ready to enter bloom where I suspect to see a delightful flower show :)

All plants look super healthy with multiple flower/budsites showing  :)

I'm not missing this flower show :)

@HSO-Mark thanks Mark, good to see you on again mate :)

Day 10 bloom, the plants have stretched out with the tallest being over 5 and a half foot, they hopefully are close to finished growing up and starting to fill out.

I’ve give them all a good defoliation lower down to help with top growth and humidity.

I’ll give them one more grow feed before transitioning to bloom until harvest.

The plants that were closest to the heater and suffering due to it have just about stretched beyond the withering heat close by it and have perked up accordingly.

Final thing is the lamps have been switched to 930’s now the stretch has hopefully ended to get those flowers going!

Things can now officially start to get interesting :yep:

They most definitely have stretched mate :) and now we can see those bud sites showing and getting ready to stack on that weight.

From what I've seen with this strain is she does enter stretch very fast  (when 12/12 is started) but then from day 11-15 she slows right down to get that focus on bud production  :yep:

So the stretch should be reducing and flowers increasing over the next few weeks :bong:

I must comment on how healthy your plants look. Zero signs of any deficiency and from what I can see a very happy looking grow room :)

Thank you for the detailed update and added pictures very much appreciated!

I'll drop back in in the next when these ladies should be in full on flower mode :yep:

Kind regards

Mark..

Day 17 of bloom, stretch seems to have given way to flower production with the biggest plants just over 6 feet!

Im onto bloom nutrient now at just under 1ml/l with each 6.5l pot getting just under 2l of water every few days.

Not much else to report which means all is well and I’m a happy man :)

For just 17 days into bloom I'm super impressed at the rapid pace of flower development  :)

By the look of things stretch is now over and the buds are exploding with beautuful bud production  :)

Looking good in here brother and as always thank you for taking the time to update your diary and for the added pictures very much appreciated!

Will drop back in on the next update mate  :)

Kind regards

@HSO-Mark thanks Mark, these girls are looking promising indeed :)

23 days into bloom and flowering is going well, the Chemdogs are more vigorous in bloom than the 707 Truthbands.

I’m happy these plants seem to enjoy quite high levels of light, the tops are about 30cm from the bulbs and they don’t seem to bothered.

My biggest girls are over 6 foot, my tent is 240cm high so I can raise the lights again if needs be, later into flower I guess I may need to.

They are each drinking 1.8 litres of water with 1ml/l of OT bloom and most seem happy enough with this bar one Truthband which is a bit more demanding of feed now.

Here’s some photos, thanks folks :yep:
