Is it me or is the general standard for entries lower than it once was.

Having tried many times to get decent photo's of good grows I realise it isn't easy but it isn't just about the quality of the photo's themselves. On more than one occasion the genera; condition of some examples has been the source of some 'fun poking' in chez Hougenai. eg 'look that's had too much nute','there's one that isn't mature','is that it? I wonder if they are using cfl' . Of course I may be being overcritical.

Are there any decent photographers prepared to open a new thread with some decent tips?
