McHazy Posted April 28, 2023 Author Share Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) The jars are now done from the last run so at the weekend I decided it wis time tae haul oot the trim an perform some alchemy tae turn it intae gold So heaved it in wi some ice an frigid water about a third o a carrier bag so nae a huge amount o trim but wi a lot o low down fluff through it first run got a decent wee pile Successive runs subject to the laws of diminishing returns but a decent haul for the amount used First run dried an pressed second Third and the last few runs turned to this kinda stuff about 3g's worth all in I got 14g-15g off the first few runs all together and 3g from the last few so a successful run in my book Cheers Edited April 28, 2023 by McHazy 12 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

McHazy Posted July 29, 2023 Author Share Posted July 29, 2023 Aye aye folks Somethin a bit different for auld McHazy this gro around as we try our first attempt at a bit ay dry sift wi the homemade trim bin my eldest made me It fairly piles up Ye can see the difference in quality fae the first wee rub tae the second But a decent wee pile aw the same Next time I will keep the two grades seperate but this time aw in tae the slab pressed wi a heavy pan o hot water Which left me wi a nice wee 7g chunk o very nice hash wi a polm like consitency What I do like about sifting is that its good to go no waiting for yer hash to dry so smoked a good bit last night the rest goin away to the stash The trim will now be stuck into the freezer to be run through the bubble bags to see what I missed cause 7g is about half my usual avg of trim hash I don't expect the quality to be great from what's left but fairly confident I can squeeze mair out ay it (Scotch aye ) Cheers 10 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
McHazy Posted August 6, 2023 Author Share Posted August 6, 2023 Some more This last pile came out wi a lot more plant matter through it which made it a bit harder to bind once I mixed it all so I used a trick that @Arthur Mix told me to try and added a few drops of water and some heat rather than use a lighter and lacking a hotplate i used an old flat bottom fying pan on a low heat to work it I kinda wish I had grabbed a couple pics as it worked real well Result : Another wee 17g lump Cheers 14 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I wanted to make some quick bubble in time for Christmas so I went with your advice and ran just the 2 bags - 220 and 25. Halfway through I was thinking I’m so fucking glad I did it this way I’d have been here all day.. As you said, little to no visible contamination between bags and runs.
