all 4 have rooted out . the 2 black jacks up first. and the cream caramels

i have ran out of root riot,cubes . so i just mixxed a 50/50 mix,of canna soil,and canna co co,to make the soil not to hot for the newly rooted seeds. heres a pic of the mix before use .you can see all the coco fibre in the mix. its good for plants roots ,due to the friendly fungi in the coco.

a picture of the 2 black jacks potted up,into there small plastic cups. il leave them in these cups for a couple of weeks max. then into 2 liter pots .

second pic is of all four seeds . cream caramels on the left. now its the waiting game ,while they grow . il no say be fimming the girls, as i like lots of buds on bushy plants . .ive put the seeds into my veg room ,far from the light . over 1 meter . thats it for now folks .

its been 4 days since the seeds were started . they have been in my veg room ,with the 600w hps ,a good 5 foot from the bulb. and allso have a small ocilating fan ,at floor level mixing the air. 24/7.

up first in the pics is a cream caramel

and cream caramel # 1 up second picture..

and the famous black jack up third. great smoking bud ,is the b,jack. im still growing a mum out from the first comp. the other black jack, has only just broke the surface of the soil/coco mix. as i put the seeds ,a few mil below the surface of the soil .heres a pic there liking the 600w sun/t plus hps for sure . im using a 6 inch high power outlet fan ,for this veg room.with a 5 inch inlet fan . with a tall oc fan,and a small ocilating fan. inside to mix the air . the tall oc fan is aimed at my 600w ajustashade, so the shade/bulb, moves with the wind .blowing the hot air away from the tops of the plants . to then be sucked out via,the 6 inch outlet ruck fan.

groop pic. they ar liking the soil/coco mix . as ive used it before for seeds .and they have never burnt before. il be potting them up into 3 or 4 liter sqaure pots,in two weeks ,when the plants have a nice white rootball,s. all other pics ar in the veg room. this room,will be taken down soon,as im making a box for my darkroom 120 tent, out of kingspan and plasterboard .as it will be in a loft. so need to keep the heat warm inside.without giving the pork pie eye in sky ,a chance to see any heat ,on the walls .

ive got the min max thermometer ,on the floor with the seeds ,and the temp cord, at the plant tops ,about 4 foot up . giving me a reading of floor temps,and rootzone temps. ive been getting a average of about 27c to 29c ,lights on.and 19c to 20c lights off. if i can keep the temps like that il be happy the humidity is very high,sumtimes when im spraying the plants with,seaweed and water mix.its been 90 % max with 25 min. ok for veg. its sit back and wait for them to kick into high gear now. normaly two weeks after germinating they start to grow more. then when put into bigger pots,with fresh soil.they will take of with growth then il allso be fimming,topping them as much as i can . and allso take cuttings of each, so at the time of smoking them,il know my favourite .and keep those girls. thats why i number up my plants ,and cuttings ,so i know whats what. thats it for now. but they ar growing all the time now . so it wont be long till i update the sweet flavour diary again.

there growing . heres a cream caramel #1 . real wide first set of leafs,on them both and cream caramel #2 .

the 1 black jack seed has nealy died. as i put it into the soil, when the shell had cracked ,but no taproot. the one,black jack thats left is looking good ,the seed shell has not long fell off. the next pics i take , il take them with the light off.

hi all,the sweets ar looking good they need a pot up,and now need feeding. as i have been giving them water only so far. so to not burn them. . they will take off ,when potted up in the next few days .

first picture up,is the black jack. got some thrip damage on my seeds .as my veg room has thrips the room needs a good spraying.and the plants . as its winter time ,and all the bugs seem to sneak in . i think its my inlet air ,as im sucking it in from below a window. with the window open a bit anyhow il spray the room tomorrow.

now for the cream caramel pictures. same again with the thrips . il kill the thrips with a organic bug spray.
