The ratio of oil makes a difference to the texture, ive found too much oil makes it messy to handle. Around 1 parts oil to 7/8 parts of bubble seems just right Happy jellying! The amount of oil we made turned out to be spot on. Squishy but without being too sticky. A texture like the old Gold-Seal Black. (Back in the days..) By heck it's good stuff. Last batch made my heart race, cant wait to mix it with bubble (6-8 wks to next harvest). So much easier than trying to smoke oil, I make such a mess with it!
