Guest RAZ
Plumb centre for the Honeywell thermo mate , B&Q for everything else ..... This controller is the dogs bollocks, it kicks your fan in when temps hit a certain temp which you choose with the Honeywell thermo, and you set the idle speed with the fan dimmer switch. So your fan is always on but only on full when temps have reached your setting .... Buy a real one for £80.... Bond
Did you have any luck finding the parts Bond? 274541[/snapback] Yes thanks Nigfis, i got everything apart from the thermostats, which i will get later today! Will hook it up when i get a chance over the next couple of days. When i have done this i will let you know how i get on. If i can get it to work then i will be well chuffed to have thermostatically controlled fans that are allwys on for about £25! Once again thanks to everyone for your help!! Bond
Hi, I tried hooking up the Thermostat as described in Fazerads instructions, the problem i have is that it says to connect "Brown to connector 4. Blue to connector 5". As you can see the thermostat doesnt have a connector 5. I think its the same thermostat as described in the instrctions, its a Honeywell T6360B 1028. Any help on how I hook this up will be greatly appreciated as i know FA about this sort of thing. Thanks for your help!!! Kmus2K
Need more information, I not sure what "Fazerads instructions" are - is that the manufacurers or some persons instructions? Didn`t the thermostat come with instructions?
Bond
Fazareds instructions are the instructions on UK Cultivator on how to hook this up to a fan. The instructions are crap, they are designed for someone who knows what the hell they are doing when wiring one of these, i certainly do not know what i'm doing. I want to know which connections (1,2,3,4) i hook the brown and blue wire up to. I will try to scan and upload the instrction page. Thanks for your help!! Guest nigfis
Hi Bond. I just had a word with Raz. He's going to remove the cover of his connector thingy and take a piccy later. We can then take you through it a step at a time if you like.....
