cypher79
@Mackie buy your new filter from a local grow shop, and they should let you dump your old one in their bin....I've never had one say no.

Guest anarchycamp
@Kush Lover Maybe the guy sees himself as a professional,is my best guess. There's a whole subset of dogood ecofriendly commercial croppers, flares n beads somewhere.
Kush Lover
Very true @anarchycamp it's just working out which ones are the dogooders and which ones are the rippers! I found this whole thread quite interesting that some people have a problem getting rid of their grow waste. Personally I would never put it in a bin anywhere close to my house and as paranoid as it sounds not in a bag with any form of finger prints etc, you never know what's going to happen!! Like you I put everything back into the ground or compost or a few times when living in a city I just took a bag, tipped it into a river making sure its all natural of course. This way it just ends up where it ends up and not stinking out a neighbours bin on a hot sunny day! But I'd say double bagging and dumping it a wheelie bin a few roads away from yours would be fine. I wanna know how people dispose of used carbon filters and old ducting etc just gotta hope the wheelie bin you dump it in the owners not a grower!
