In the Garden/Greenhouse 2024

The 2024 season is just around the corner , so I'm here with another greenhouse/garden grow.

I've got a few jobs left to do , fumigate and clean the greenhouse and get some netting up , mainly for stealth , but also where it's south facing it can get really fucking hot in there.  I'm also going to rig up a large fan ,  after last years weather and the dreaded rot , this is a must!!!!

I'll be getting my beans moist around the last week of April and all going well they'll be transferred to their final pots in the greenhouse after about 7-10 days.  I'm reducing my pot sizes this year , down to 7.5 litre , which should  make it all easier to manage and I wont start panicking due to having large plants and nosy neighbors.

This years beans , all Auto , subject to change if I fuck em up  😂

The germination station , where dreams are made...

I cant wait to get going , the best of luck to everyone and here's wishing for a decent summer this year. Much love  😍

I tried greenhouse last year - my first ever grow: Super Skunk Auto (Sweet Seeds) and Purple Kush Auto (unkown). I only planted up 4 seeds (two of each). I lost one early on to stem rot and the other three carried on well initially. I started early about first week of April. All was going brilliantly until July when the rot started in the flowers and spread everywhere pretty quickly - depsite us cutting out rotting flower when we saw it.

We relied on the wind to generate the breeze so I think the fan is a good idea to try - these greenhouses get really warm and it's a much more volatile environment than a grow tent indoors.

Even though we had to cut our losses and harvest early one of the plants produced about 2 jars of bud and is a super-super-fun smoker! Unfortunately I didn't mark up the seeds when I planted them so I don't know which it was (I suspect it was the super skunk auto just because it was taller than the others). Would love to try again this year. Would plant a bit later - May. However, rest of household very not keen on the idea because of the wonderful aromas. Sigh!

@ItWasntMeHonestly Yeah rot was a real pain last year , even with the roof vent and door fully open. The weather was so bad through July/August.

I'm at least hoping a fan will help a little , just to add some circulation...

@Celtic voyager have you made a decision what beans your running with yet?

Hi mate.

I've a rough idea in what I'm going to do

Plan so far is 3 photos and a few autos.

The photos

Cream caramel

SAD

green poison.

Autos

Forbidden cherry, dutch-passion

Mohan ram

Easy bud, RQS

quick one, RQS.

I'm between to minds about my photos.

I might change them to their auto versions.

Quicker growing time

Smaller pots

More discreet

That's the plan so far 😆

How did your SAD turn out.

What was/is the smoke like??

I can only say how she vapes , I don't smoke and

don't forget I grew the auto version so she may differ slightly.

I'm enjoying her , a nice mellow indica stone ,  not knock out just nice and mellow. Quite an unusual flavour too , difficult to describe.

I bet the photo version is lovely 🙂

She sounds ideal

Was she in any way racy??

I'll definitely let you know how the photo version goes, as long as she makes it
