GemimaPudd
Hi Not sue if this is correct forum I have germinated 2 seeds in water and the tap roots are out. They have been in a small bowl of water in a warm dark cupboard since Tuesday but I am unable to plant now until next Tuesday. Can someone offer some advice on if /how I should keep them, or are these as good as dead? Thanks Link to comment
Shumroom
What’s stopping you getting them into a wee pot of coco? Atb 3 Link to comment
Dan t
The tap roots will get really long and I'd imagine they'd get a bit delicate. Possibly break when you pot them up. Sooner you get them in pots the better. Edited February 22 by Dan t 1 Link to comment

I can put them in soil but no light, would they be better in soil with some daylight? Edited February 22 by GemimaPudd 2 Link to comment

You think I should carry on as planned and just remove them when necessary? Worst case they have to have daylight for a day. Obviously the temps and environment will not be right but they wont be cold. Edited February 22 by GemimaPudd Link to comment
cannaboy_420
You got to do what you got to do, if the seeds don't survive then it's not meant to be so just crack some more 2 2 Link to comment

Clubs
They don't really look recognisable until they're into their second week. I'd pot them, keep them under a light then just pop them on the window sill during your visit. Put a few other types of seedlings around them too if you're worried. 2 Link to comment
