Shogun Posted January 25 Share Posted January 25 What's the benefits of a machine? Rso is really easy to make without a machine. I would only think about investing in one if it could reclaim the alcohol and reduce the smell while it was all being processed. Slippy One Posted January 25 Share Posted January 25 Watch the Rick Simpson video tears of heaven or something, just replace the diesel (or was it naptha) with isopropyl for topicals or food grade ethanol for edibles. Easy. Do it outdoors or at least in a doorway with the fan blowing the boiling solvent outdoor and away from neighbours *smell. The trick is getting it out of the rice cooker without mess at the end, I recommend a silicone spatula. I then transfer what comes out of the rice cooker into an small metal bowl, that sits in oil at 120C (bain marie style). Once all the bubbles are gone, you're good to go, just syringe everything into fresh 5ml syringes. Don’t forget cannabinoids are the same with hash rosin etc that’s a safer method and a good stop gap measure till you learn rso or have the flowers to do it. Use a good soft hash and rosin it . Rosin as stopgap measure RSO , hopefully the pics will come back after migrations completed @Joolz ? If you click on the bits that ain’t there it takes you to the pic . mani Posted January 27 Author Share Posted January 27 @Arthur Mix Hi mate, I'm going to use the coconut oil with hash method described below from your post, thanks for your help. I posting this here to show how easy it is to make oil to help people.. The hash rosin extract is in the pressing times two thread in my signature.. Got round to processing the hash rosin with two parts coconut oil to one part rosin.. It was decarbed for an hr at around 90/95c till the bubble activity stopped... I then use a stainless cup on one of my rosin plates set to 90c with a silicon pad for cup to sit on..this melts the coconut oil .. When the rosin has cooled from decarbing I drop it into the heated coconut oil.. I then cover it and stir it from time to time over the next hr.. Then I draw it into syringes for easy use...... I did two runs one was ten grams the second was thirty, I needed to do a smaller run first just to see I remembered steps ... IMO more people should use rosin for meds if they do not have access or the time to grow , just use the best hashish you can get ..few people using this now and report they feel less nauseous from pharma treatment and get good rest and appetite back, so that's a positive. first run ...
