NormanNugget
Thinking about trying 4 different autos in an 80x80x200 tent. I’ve seen good reports about the 420 FastBuds, has anyone got any recommendations on strains? I’d like to try 4 different strains to give me a varied stash. Could I expect about 2oz a plant under a 300w LED with 9l Airpots? 2 Link to comment
KC
You should be able to pull at least 10oz from that, probably more depending on the genetics and how things go. Is there any reason that you want to do autos? Just curious really. 2 Link to comment
5Lip
I’ve tried most and their Stardawg was definitely a stand out strain for me 2 Link to comment
Lux_Interior
I grew FastBuds Gorilla Cookies Auto's outside last year. Seemed good genetics both seeds germinated. Grew them in used Coco with very little maintenance. I used Intense Organix Bloom, not really a Coco feed but it went OK. 4 x autos in a 80x80 tent should be fine. Just get them in their final pots as soon as you can and let them go. 2 Link to comment

Also I have zero stash at the moment and keen to get something curing ASAP!! 3 Link to comment

I’m thinking to use Biobizz allmix if that’s makes much difference 1 Link to comment

These look cracking, how far off of harvest are you? Would be great to see what the yield is. What size tent and what light have you got? 1 Link to comment

KC
Just food for thought but a lot of photo strains can be flowered in 9 weeks, some even 8 so add a 6 week veg to that and it's only about a week more than an auto by the sounds of it. 2 Link to comment

Was supposed to be a Xmas smoke has few mentioned before expect it all to take longer then the pack. I'd probably wouldn't do an auto again I've grown about 10 autos , photos are just better. The only time I would grow them again is if the leccy prices got worse and couldn't afford to run everything the best I can I'd probably grow them as they can stand cold cold temps my cheese autos top temps was 19.6ish and went as low as 11c and they just weren't phased and soldiered on I'd say by guess pulled 6+ oz of the 3 under 220w light will post pics of finished result in week or 2 Yeh thats why i save my auto seeds now cuse i'll do some guerilla with it cuse they are comfi in cold weather.I get some directly for cold weather. I cant wait to try out guerilla grow 2 Link to comment

Hmm definitely food for thought.. I have no experience so thought autos would be a good first step. I like the idea of photos, but was thinking to get a first grow of autos under my belt so I don’t need to also learn about training / light schedules etc on my first run. Then I expect I’d try photos. Would you suggest just diving straight into photos for a first run? 3 Link to comment

You have no control over when autos will flower and how long they take to finish. Photos can be flowered straight from seed which would be the quickest but yield will suffer. 4 Link to comment
NormanNugget
So is the theory that you veg a photo until the desired size and then flower? I guess in this way you can control the time period but the yield is based on how quickly you put them into flower? It seems like autos are quite unpopular on here, any particular reason?
