I’ll take the camera with me today when going into the veg drobe. Atb 2 Link to comment

Yep. Don't think there's a right or wrong answer, various methods and substrates seem to work. Like @Axiom, I used to get a roughly 80% strike rate with Clonex and rockwool. Had reasonable results with Jiffy coins and root riot cubes, too. I think the main things are heat and humidity. I would add that it's generally better to take cuttings early in the morning, (or when lights come on), as they are full of water and less turgid. Larger cuttings nearer the apex growing tip will have more vigour, and slicing the cuttings fan leaves by 50% will help reduce transpiration. I also cut the stem at 45 degrees, exposes more of the plant cells to the rooting hormone. Edited October 26, 2023 by Zipster Addition Link to comment

Axiom
@Shumroom Mayb in a cup of water & to desperately save genetics that's worthwhile but fuck if I'm checking up on dryness of rockwool cubes for a month and more ! Edited October 28, 2023 by Axiom 1 Link to comment
Shumroom
I was thinking I might pot up the 2 of them that have started to root early next week I’ve just had a couple of wee tasters from the Slap’N Tickle, but so far I’m pretty happy with it and I’ll be delighted to be able to run this plant again Atb Link to comment
Axiom
@Shumroom The roots will damp off pretty quickly if left for more than a few days without an air supply to the roots, even if you change the water. I'd get them in some dirt ASAP. Enjoy your slaps n tickles ha Link to comment
