OldFord
A few methods but the moisture levels getting too high would be my concern as seedling will rot rapidly !!! This would rule out my got to method of sinking a terracotta pot filled with water , i would poss got larger pots for seedlings & use a wick system with say a 5 ltr res bottle and prob a mini dome made from a 2ltr plastic bottle with the arse cut out & lid on but holes in & few small side holes. This affords them protection from the slime brigade & critters and a steady slow water feed. Keep the res bottle off the floor to aid keeping temps up so strap it to a stake. All the best with it. Amarillo slim
And as the old adage goes, you can lead a stoner to a perfectly good thought out solution, but you can’t stop them from ignoring it in favour of any other possible idea which may or may not work.. The constant moisture thing can lead to problems but if the environment is otherwise on point (controlled by lid / timing) and you use the correct medium it is a non issue. Cannabis is particularly tolerant of high moisture levels in first two weeks of seed hitting soil (an evolutionary adaption).
