Dig a hole.

Yes this works and my range is between 8 and 16c depending on the season and weather. I've gone for a used but clean food storage barrel, blue ones with the aluminium clip and black lids work well. Dig a hole, drop barrel in, fill gaps around the edge with sand, some kind of insulation on the inside of the lid, and then something to cover the lid for stealth. A trapdoor in a shed floor would be an ideal location for this.  A weather station sensor in the barrel keeps you up to speed with temp and humidity.

Wine cooler works great, bought mine for the Cuban cigar collection, never had issue.  Feels well classy, not sure it keeps any better than the jars in my cupboard though.  Metal wire kind of shelving in mine.  Think it was about 180 new, refurb they were 100 quid ish (cosmetic issue on mine).
