if I was using aquarium water I would by a PPM pen/meter and water it down accordingly with ph cal mag water. Would be interested to see what ppm you aqua water is:

 

I love stuff like this, I’ve see some guy In Africa who has fully sustainable fish/veggie farms doing this 

I've got a TDS pen in the house because I've got marine tanks too so make RO water, I'll check it when I get home!

In the planted tank im taking water from Phosphates usually test at just over 1ppm and nitrates are usually a wee bit higher than they really should be at about 25-30ppm.
