You could still get a few seeds off them but you won't get a good pollination. Still its something you can play with later.

Maybe just save the pollen to use on something else.

I have theDDxG going out later , and have a couple cuttings rooting out . So I should still get this one done this season.

I can always come back to the MxRp or ditch it.. or put it on these spare autos when theyre ready.

Just trying to get back in the flow state . I hadnt germed a bean for years until last year.

Well... This has been has beans..

Checked the early harvest beans on saturday night. They were looking ripe and a few fell off with the gentlest touch. 

Let them rest for a couple days and soaked 2 of the Purple and 2 of the Green MxRP crosses late last night. By this morning they had split nicely , so went into paper towel .

I'm running out of space , so I chopped the seed momas today and will collect the seeds in a couple days the way they are drying in this heat.

I'll update you on the germination and next generation.

As it's only June 13th, reckon I should put these out in the wild if I can make the space.

 

The DDxG x MxRP still needs another week i'd say looking at the way the bracts are browning .

 

Not fully to plan , but still found out that there is time to breed and plant a crop .

Next year i'll start 2 weeks earlier, plan better and hopefully make a cross from scratch and pull a harvest from the created seed.
