Pulled it out and used the potting mix to top off the other 2 to support the stretch. Time for Thunderdome! which one wins? place your bets! Original Curry vs Chicken & Mushroom! Exhale
On the 12th day of later my true love gave to me, fuck all but the plants have grown - it's very boring, I go in there pick up the pot to see if it needs water and then I either water it or leave it. The holes in the bottom are doing their job and the roots are pruning. I don't know which one is going to be bigger but apparently I can grow more than one pot noodle plant out so if they're not inclined to fill my screen out quickly I will use them both to cut down on the time it takes to fill the screen. Not much difference in them they both have broad leaves but it's early doors yet, the Original Curry plant seems to be more stretchier but they've both come quite close to the board now and are stacking nodes tighter, I will have to put them down under the shelf and increase the watts soon.

When I pick up the pots it's usually a case of me muttering under my breath "You better not need watering you twat because I can't be fucked with you today!" the same patience was exercised with that headless seedling, I pulled the shell and gave it a day or 2 to right itself but, because it was so far behind, my patience ran out and I crushed it like a tank does a chinese communist. 59 minutes ago, Clumsy said: Looking good in here Best of luck with the grow and comp Hope the scrog won't stop us getting some of your root porn. Exhale
Fucking flying they are, so. Left 2 nodes on the bigger girl and 1 on the squat one, if the stretchier one keeps going like it is (the stem is considerably thicker) I may end up just using that one plant. Ignore the humidity on that meter, it's out by at least 20%, pots have stayed moist enough for the roots to come up to the surface.

Exhale
Prepare your hankies, lock the door and tell the missus you don't want to speak to her for the rest of the day - you're going to be upset! It's been a bit bloody cold and very bloody miserable so to cheer myself up I've remained in the background watching you lot and trying to tend to my own the best I can, it's been so cold the tent door has stayed shut - no ventilation either other than me checking things twice a day opening the door to let some fresh air in - this all means my pots haven't been drying out so quick and my plants have been getting behind on the feed. I noticed the growth had slowed right down so planned to do my first root ball trim, it will probably be the only one I do as the plant is ready to grow in to the screen. Looking a bit sorry for herself, but not as bad as some You can see how damp the medium has been by the roots, not my usual picture of white well matted perfection.. This will take you back a few years, been a while since you've seen the stabby chavvies best friend "the kitchen devil" I bet! They go through rootballs like butter, even the chunky anchor root was no match for the blade that hasn't dulled in over 18 years abuse! She's been settled back in a few days now and rewarded me with fresh bendy green growth, the net should fill quite quick if I can manage to not overwater and under feed. I'm off on my holidays soon so more radio silence, I do have a drip feed system for this so I can keep her happy while I'm gone I just hope I can set the plant in shape before I go so the branches grow through without me having a shit-show to wrestle on my return! Until the next update...
