@Mission Sunset String is fine, the hemp brown string, feels a bit like hay would probably be better! You’ll know when to start lst, if you need a hand put some pics up and everyone can help you!

No brother - it cuts into the stems, especially so when there young.

Personally I find 'Verve green plastic and steel plant tie' from B&Q to have the perfect combination of strength, softness and workability for LST. I have mine cut into say 100mm lengths that I can re-use on other grows.

I’ve never had string cut into the stems only that green wire

Good luck with your grow hopefully it turns out a blinder would definitely try find out more about the light as I’m using a 250w led in that space

It just depends what string. Yes gardeners string is probably OK to be fair.

 

The bit I forgot to add: What im aiming for at the 3 & 4 week LST point is to have an 'upturned hand' with about 8 'fingers', including the main stem, all spread out around the pot.
