Anyone else got one and recommend any games? My dad just bought one lol big kid ain’t he. To be fair he has always bought the latest consoles and gadgets. I did just think here we go another bollocks thing. I’ve only just played the demo thing to get used to the basics. Gonna play super hot after my dinner but so far I gotta say I’m quite impressed. Can deffo see VR being the future and only from a short go of the basic demo thing.

I've got one, kids bought it for me for xmas last year

as for games, Real Vr Fishing, Ritchies Plank, FitXR, Thrill of the Flight, there are loads and most of them you can get a refund if you play less than x amount of hours and decide you don't want it

if you go to the browser, search vr porn you'll be occupied for months lol

lol I’m waiting on my food to arrive so only played it a little. So far though proper impressed and is a lot better than I thought. If Facebook and others are gonna start pumping money into vr. I proper can’t wait to see the future of gaming. It’s quite surreal how you really do feel there in the game.

Well playing that has changed my thoughts about Facebook and it’s vr meta idea. I won’t lie and say where it’s at now will replace say your call of duty on consoles. Just have to look at how far gaming has come over the years though. Now money is pumped into gaming more so than ever so I think the speed which it all moves will be even quicker. Remember my mum banging out about how when she was in her teens she had Astro wars. Within her life time we’ve now got vr so what’s 10,20 years from now gonna be like. Come away from playing that and makes me wish I was involved in game design. Feels wrong even calling it a game because experiences is a whole next thing. Was saying to my dad imagine being able to pay to go back in time and be at historic events. Experience what it was like on titanic etc. Or the ability to experience different careers, download the ability to be a surgeon for the day. lol sorry for going on just proper surprised me how good it is and what is to come. Take it off and already the normal world feels boring with just looking about and seeing plain walls.

I'd planned getting one looks amazing, I was really thinking about buying to get fit with it, but looking into it more seems like going to be huge with metaverse and crypto stuff.

but its mainly something that will get my off my asrse and try get fit, I get bored on exercise bike and fuck walking this time year... pissing rain most days now... so yeah Oculus gonna splash 400 bucks on it Ive made from crypto(which was meant to by new LEDs, but fuck it my 315w will last another few months) :)

Compare to sitting down gaming, you work up bit of a sweat. That’s just playing a shooting game, I imagine they’ve already got or will be releasing fitness games. Thing is your being a lot more active but truly do feel lost in the game so ain’t like you notice burning some calories.
