Caly
Hi All, I’m going to fit some Klima underfloor heating matts in the tent, does anyone know if I can use an inkbird to run it off safely? Thanks
NezA
What's the wattage draw of the Klima underfloor heating?
BilgePump
A 1m² Klima mat pulls 150w
Caly
150w per square meter, I’m using 2m squared
NezA
You should be fine then as long as all the wiring is up to scratch. The inkbird will handle 300w without batting an eyelid. I run a 1500w oil filled radiator off of mine through the winter.

No it's not :-) 1m squared + 1m squared is 2 square metres. 2m squared is 2m x 2m = 4 square metres. There's a difference that catches people out all the time. Me included at times :-)

Caly
To actually solve this I’m using 2x 1 square meters separately, my tent floor space is 2.4x1.2 so it should be 150w for each. I hope I have this right

This is an English problem, anyone using the notation you describe to mean what you are saying is doing it wrong. Turns out Caly is doing it right!
