Lux_Interior
Avoid Westlands New Horizon. I had a horror winter 20/21 with gnats. I think too cold temps/too damp compost allowed things to escalate. The gnats are enoying rather than devastating to a crop. However I have changed to Sylvagrow compost for my current grow & nothing is flying around the growroom at the moment. I do not know if they heat treat their product or not!, or whether its the environment that's made the difference (!) ? I intend to use Sylvarow again so in 9mths time I might be in a position to reliably comment. Try a Need Oil drench or covering the surface of the compost with Sharp Sand to keep the Fungus Gnats at bay. It's not Spider mites so don't panic.
