badbillybob Posted July 25, 2021 Author Share Posted July 25, 2021 well ive killed the rdwc one. i ended up getting rot in the system and the plant just wasnt going anywhere. my fault 100%. who else would be dumb enough to hit them with 3kw of lights in a summer environment and hope they would be ok. Anyway the coco one is still alive, and looking good, hopefully i can keep it alive. ive just potted it up from a party cup to a 10 litre bucket/pot. hydroton an inch in the bottom, then 1/2 filled with coco with added charge, then topped up with plain old canna coco pro plus. i will get some pics tomorrow. badbillybob Posted August 2, 2021 Author Share Posted August 2, 2021 hereyou go, a improvement on what it did look like. i gave these a big soak tonight, to runoff to flush out any salts etc. ive been deliberately underfeeding slightly, to get the roots out searching for nutes, but they need a decent feed.... talking of nutes, im back on the ionic. there was some orrible stuff swimming about in my res, dont know if it was off the intense stuff, but i know the res was rinsed out before i filled it. maybe silicone , i dont know. anyway i upped the feed to 0.9ec and ph is at 6.1. i wont water tomorrow night, but will the next day. i still havnt got the auto watering system set up. i only thought about this today, there are different size pots, soome 10s and some 8s. doh !!! 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
