Shumroom
Maybe put in some yellow sticky traps, just in case they're hiding from you Or it could perhaps be moisture on the leaves during lights on causing scorch marks. What is the pH and EC of the feed? Atb
Jedlod
I've got a couple of stickys in there already.theyve only caUght gnats. Yeah scorch marks sounds like it could be what it is. Ph 6.2 Ec 1.0 Thanks for stopping by

Jedlod
Been a bit busy lately tearing down a tent and building this room so the girls have been getting bare minimum attention but they're doing OK. I've put a 3 way port in the bottom of this res which feeds, flumes and drains when needed.when I've been doing a res clean Its a nightmare to get rid of all the crap out the bottom.hopefully this helps.the flumings a bit noisy so I will only be using this when the res is nearly full. I've got an eheim filter fluming inside the res.got everything set up and gave them a feed.ive put the air bleed valve in the bottom line moved it tonight into the line next to the strainer.going to try it tomorow.....hopefully it works and doesn't siphon itself again haha. Done a bit training tonight They started 12/12 yesterday Feeding ga bloom at 1.1 Don't know how the photo of the dehumidifier got up there but......I plugged it in yesterday.the fans spinning away but it's not sucked any moisture out the air!anyone had this before?nochance I can send it back....I've drilled a hole in the back.
Jedlod
I've got 2 oil rads underneath attached to an inkbird.the sensors poked in the side of the pot.is this a good idea to keep root temps up or is this s bad idea?
Jedlod
Can anyone point me in the right direction here.ive read somewhere (can't remember where) people using calmag to raise it to 0.3/4 if nothings showing on the ec pen?
Shumroom
That's what I do, my tap water is EC 0.0 so I use MagCal, like you mentioned to get to 0.4 then I start adding the A and B to get to the desired level Atb

Jedlod
some of the plants were looking a bit droopy the other day.done a bit research on here and found out that my air circulation isn't good enough.ive had to open the hall door to let a bit fresh air in.going to cut holes in the roof this weekend and vent into the attic and cut holes in the board above the door in the Hall for intake. Fitted chillers to my res's tonight as the temps were getting up to 22°.Will get some photos tomorow
Jedlod
that's the 2 chillers installed. I've no room to put them outside or I would have. For the big chiller I removed the fluming pipe and redirected the pipework under the res to the 300a and ran a hose back into the top of the res. The other chillers for my fresh water res. I use that forthe mother/veg tent It's a 100l res and I've fed the chiller from the valve at the bottom and I think the pumps struggling to pull the water through.the chillers been on most of the time and it's a 130a. Going to put a larger hole and a bigger tank connector to the 3/4 pipework. My own fault for being lazy!!
Jedlod
Can anyone help me out with adding trace elements into a big res? I see lots of people using it but not sure how it's done Do I need to make a batch up and use the lot every time? Or Can I use 3/4 of the batch and just top up?that's what I've been doing with the a and b Not quite sure how I would do it With trace? As I usually top the res up and just keep adding nutes till I'm at 1.0-1.2 Think I've got my head round it I work out how much litres I'm topping up with.add a and b up to the desired e.c Then workout how much ml/l say 3ml/l Then add 2ml/l of traces to make it up to 5ml Edited March 22, 2021 by Jedlod Worked out the problem
Jedlod
thats the girls finished 2 weeks of flower. now that I'm using growers ark I've never seen a grow look so good. the trace elements arrived today.hopefully look even better soon i filled the 200l res 180ml of calmag took it to ec 0.4 500ml of a and b took it to ec 1.2 500÷200=2.5 So 200×2.5 =500ml of traces Is this correct? I fitted a new fan today as the clip ons are making some racket.going to order another to get a bit more air movement.
