Hunting Down a Grinder

@Shumroom Absolutely man, this run's no different! I'm hoping to get my hands on some inkbird controllers to keep things steady in future

So the CM dried out pretty damn quickly and i noticed she was up for trim after a week. Possibly due to the lack of density and also a pretty low rh% for the first day. The smell coming off it is still crazy and the flavour too. Just like the name suggests, really nice mellow, citrus/orangey flavour. Just what I was hoping for! She's now jarred up sitting in the dark, the little hygro thing's ranging between 16-18° &sitting between 57-62% between burps. Seems pretty ideal to me :g:I forgot to weigh as I trimmed so I'll probably do that when it comes to trimming the other two.

The CC&BJ and look on track to be trimmed after another few days drying which will take them to 10-12 days!

Happy Friday!

It's Friday I'm in Love

Time for a bit of The Cure.

Well, they're all dried (a touch too much), jarred and sat in the dark. Pulled some surprisingly nice buds! Reckon I could've kept them going for a few more days. All in all I got around 90-95g:

CC - 35g

BJ - 29g

CM - 30g

&A half decent amount of kief thanks to the trimbin.

They're being burped daily however the hmuodity in the jars is already between 50-55%. The scent is definitely becoming more intense can't say much for the flavour/effect yet but time shall tell.

Have a cracking weekend peeps, I'm gonna be making some adjustments and tweaks then popping more badboy beans

@Topo You'll by no means be disappointed! She's got great growth structure and produced some pretty danky grenade-like buds :flex:

@Openairbud Thanks mate, they're certainly not as dense as they could've been and they're a little crispy (my bad):sweaty: It's really difficult to not grab a nug when you're blasted with crazy stench like that every time the jars are popped

The Revival

Welcome back all to perhaps the final entry.

The bud cured up real nice yo. They all developed a real punchy nose and taste, super impressed yet again.

Blackjack

So this one came out real cheesey on the nose, like an old sock or something. Super dope smelling pheno. Nice, daytime smokelarge.Resizer_16166209651503.jpglarge.Resizer_16166209651504.jpglarge.Resizer_16166209651505.jpg

Cream Mandarine

Tastes kinda sweet with a citrus-like aftertaste. I think this one's a bit racey for me, has my head all over the show, it certainly makes me more aware about minor things that really shouldn't matter :sweaty:large.Resizer_16166209651500.jpglarge.Resizer_16166209651501.jpglarge.Resizer_16166209651502.jpg

Cream Caramel

This had a really symmetric structure with super dense buds, lovely mellow flavour on this one

I've also started another run since my last update and am now around 2 weeks into flowering. If it's within the rules I'll keep updating the thread with info on my latest run and how they're doing!

Second Chance Saloon

Welcome back people,

I started this run in the hopes of nailing previously run autoflowering cultivars.  For this run I selected:

Dark Devil Auto - I had some issues the last time I grew this and ended up with very dry, crispy, small and fluffy buds. Beautiful smell and taste nonetheless.large.Resizer_16018524653233.jpglarge.Resizer_16018524653235.jpglarge.Resizer_16018524653238.jpg

Cream Mandarine Auto - As you can tell, I was kinda taken aback by the height of her, poorly supercropped &also stricken with issues.large.Resizer_16108261104230.jpg

Black Cream Auto - This one's new to me&was an original competition choice seed, so no previous experience but I'm hoping for a heavy hitting indi strain for the evening smokes to put me to sleep.

Seems like a vengeance run really eh, or less sinister sounding second chance at nailing some good weed!

A Rough Start

I decided to fill my pots with AllMix and stick the seeds straight in the dirt! This clearly wasn't the best idea as all three really struggled to get a foothold and ended up pretty burnt out after just a few dayslarge.Resizer_16137679988400.jpglarge.Resizer_16163620671861.jpglarge.Resizer_16137679988402.jpg

I decided to take decisive action and experiment in the hopes of upping their survival chances. Now I didn't take pictures of this in case it all went awry, but I very carefully dug them all out and cleaned up the few short roots. I dug out a hole the size of a small cup - probably about 250-300ml and filled it with LightMix, VERY carefully replanting the poorly seedlings.

Only a few days later and they're all flying along! Recovering well and definitely picking up the pace.large.Resizer_16175272765731.jpglarge.Resizer_16175272765730.jpglarge.Resizer_16163620671862.jpglarge.Resizer_16163620671860.jpg

At this stage, I think they were all getting around 1L every 4th/5th day to try & follow a wet/dry cycle. Temps were sitting steady at about 24-25° and I was using the humidifier to try and keep rh around 70-75%.

Vegging Away

A week or so later and they've recovered nicely, now seeing some rapid growth. I think the light was set at 100w, and they're still on plain water. At this point I decided to start bending and tying them down, super low. I let them reach the edge of the pot then started to follow the pot roundlarge.Resizer_16163620671865.jpglarge.Resizer_16163620671866.jpglarge.Resizer_16163620671868.jpglarge.Resizer_16163620671867.jpg
