Henroid
@schmoak welcome bro 1 hour ago, schmoak said: Looks like it's going to need some extra nutrients to make decent buds at this stage, do you use sprays to attack mold or rot? I have placed down FBB and Sop and will be adding further Sop later on but on my next visit I’m planning on mixing some Chicken manure into some seaweed water and giving them a good soaking i have and will also continue to clear all surrounding vegetation not sure what you can do for mould/rot other then pray and try get to the buds before it does

Disclaimer: idea above is a stoned pop bubble idea. My area is infamous for high humidity, bud rot and mold are a standard, for powdery mildew i used 'propolis' organically derived for organic consumption and it kept the mildew subdued halting advances, used 2-3 times a week if needed, it may help to have it ready available as soon as you see the very first signs? oh yes, the garlic may be converted to spray yet????

schmoak
Hiya Henroid, in regard to rotting bud I was warned about small caterpillars which in their life cycle can foster conditions which bring about bud rot. In the spirit of organic gardening was recommended to use B-Toxin bacteria powder to mix into spray, prevention before cure. Had just finish putting the last plant outside today and saw a small tawny butterfly flit excitedly around the young vegging canopies!! tiny eggs are being laid, around here they hatch, move inside the buds and munch like a worm in an apple, rot begins and fungus grows.
schmoak
Wonderful Potential, Marvelous things can happen there, a plant you can be well proud of!! but briar looks in veg mode too! eta: Briar looks in flower near you plant. i'd go 700mm minimum from stem in under briar and slice deeply down to sever briar tapping roots in such a situation, would have to check it out, call it duty of care, may make little difference, but... Amarillo slim
Lovely stuff! Still looks slightly on the pale side, but I'm sure she's about to go straight into full flower mode at any moment, where low N isn't such a bad thing... Look forward to seeing what kind of pheno she turns out to be. cheers
Henroid
@Amarillo slim hey dude thanks for checking in and thanks for the compliments and observations, I will probably just stick to sulphate of potash and maybe a touch of bonemeal, but as your saying she’s about to hit flower mode now so she shouldn’t need all that N anyway shes definitely going to be a big girly, can’t wait to run more of these and see what else I get, I like that pink auto pheno I see @ratdog with, looking very nice I am dying to see what she chucks out, would love something black, well we will have to wait and see as always I will keep you posted until next time peace
schmoak
Was out in the sticks recently and was comparing "lovingly raised" to "wild raised" and We were commenting on the 'wild one' looking slight and starved and the other fellow said it... he said "This is dead soil(worn out) look around, the plants don't thrive well, you put a fresh unpotted plant in compost into this ground and it will suck all the nutrients out it!" That's what he said.
Henroid
I’ve somewhat been putting off this update due to my own mistake in believing my plot was rabbit safe well I have been shown otherwise and i am now dealing with stem rot on the MWF, haven’t seen her for a little while but this is her when I assessed the damage and cleaned her the best I could, hopefully enough Fucking rabbits lesson learned DO NOT TAKE OFF CAGES!
Amarillo slim
Pesky wabbits... Did you treat the stem with anything? Isopropyl perhaps? If theres still some green round the other side its possible the plant can keep on growing, although return visits to keep the rot from returning may be needed in this weather. At least there are two branches beneath the effected area, which should go on to finish up normally. Unusual to not see signs of flower yet, must don't think I've seen such a late pheno yet.
