thistlegrower
4" pipework is the way forward. Cost is silly but bulkhead connectors and 110mm fittings keep the water flowing nicely and never ever leak. Bulkhead connectors from Koi pond dealers. All rubber connectors (clay to pvc from Toolstation!) make it easy to assemble with 110mm soil pipe (Also Toolstation). Look at water feeding troughs from kingspan, Throw away all the ball valves but keep one for the control trough. Water butt from B&Q. A good water chiller plus a pump for it. A big circulation pump to pull all the water through the system back to the control trough. Two big linear air pumps running four 8" flat air stones in the troughs with the return water splashing into the control trough creating more oxygenated water. 1 trough - 1 600w light - 1 tomato Put that lot together in a sorted room with all control gear outside, Honestly never had results like it. Nutes need half strength maximum and silver bullet roots is a must. Over 250L of moving water keeps everything stable. Just my opinion of course. Don't beat me up.
