Mango Saphire in Springfield

Recommended Posts

Little update.

Shes gone out into the garden where she gets 9 hours direct sunlight a day. I've opted for an old lantern I had lying around. It makes for a good air pot and it's nice and discreet.

Its hung up amongst my jasmine on the fence

I snipped the bottom off her pot and carefully set her into the lantern which is filled with general-purpose compost.

This pic today after her first night out.

Pretty much invisible.

As soon as it starts making the slightest wiff it'll be out somewhere else I reccon.

@Punk#1

Yeah, bottom of my garden, the leafs are just visible from the pavement/road if you look hard enough. It's well camouflaged by all the other plants climbing the fence.

My wife and kids haven't noticed yet....

I'm fairly set on planting the Mango out on Friday anyway.

She's grown quite nicely in 6 days. I think there's hope she might be forgiving me for past abuse.

Since she's still growing I will give her another week before plant out

large.IMG-20200621-WA0016.jpglarge.IMG-20200621-WA0015.jpgNaaaaaaah, fuck it.

Went upto the plot this afternoon and got her hidden away in the middle of nowhere.

Not sure how much light she'll get, we'll have to wait and see.

Water crystals, root fungi and some biobizz Grow all in good quantities in the hole.

Really excited about the soil. I took a load from under a huge oak tree and mixed it in with the loam.

Hole was easy to dig and deep.

Awww cheers @murphyblue for the props, had a quick gander at your autos, sick mate, looking succulent.

Really encouraged by what you've said cheers.

Nerve racking stuff and hard work eh!

Digging holes and then leaving babies out on their own. Indoors is easier. There. I've said it.

Totally unqualified to make that remark but my hands are stinging, my back hurts and the only fingernails that dont have mud under them are the ones that have been chewed off through sheer anxiety for my lil vulnerable babies
