Og Kush and Gorilla

Bust a nug

Recommended Posts

Day 1 of 12/12

Both res at PH 6.3 amd PPM 460.

Day

  • 38 OG Kush
  • 34 Gorilla
  • 42 GG4

I have been defoliating so much lately, i may have filled 2x 5G buckets of fan leaves. I don't want to see any sweat during flowering.

The SCROG is getting along nicely. Took me a while to fill it up as some plants were taller than the other...

I may have vegged too long, I will have to be careful about mold.

So far I have high hopes for the OG Kush. Can't wait for harvest

Just defoliated and added a tower fan for better air circulation. well worth it

Day 28 of 12/12

Both res at PH 6.1 amd PPM 575.

Day

65 OG Kush
61 Gorilla
69 GG4

Sorry for lack of posts, got real busy here.

Sadly the OG Kush which I was really looking forward did not stretch as much as the gorilla's and the GG4. Because of that the OG's are smaller and won't yield much...

On the bright side the Gorilla's and GG4 are doing great. Good job Dinafem, they look almost identical in structure though the GG4 is older so bigger. Great representation so far of GG4.

Did so much defoliation holy crap it took me like 3 hours, the back of the tent was a bitch to deal with.

Whole tent

I would have 63 days in your mind for OG buddy ;)

If she finishes in 56 that's a win. If she goes another week then it's planned  :yep:

Hitting mid bloom and looking in great shape  :headbang:

All the best :bong:

Day 49 of 12/12

Plants(OG Kush & GG4) in the left reservoir got sick with root rot and stopped growing for the last 2 weeks. PH dropped to 4.6 and plants wouldn't drink. I used to bennies 2 days ago to treat it and will use tea's in 3 days.It will be my first batch wish me luck.

I will be using;

  • water left in open for 1 day                1 gallon
  • Eeath worm casting liquid fertilizer.     1 tbs
  • Xtreme Gardening Mykos                    1 tbs
  • Complex carb                                    1 tbs
  • Liquid Kep                                         1 tbs

Plants (Gorilla) in the right res are doing good, the buds are foxtailing, getting fat and massive Crystals!!

To my surprise both strains look like they will be ready around week 9 and 10. I think I'll chop both on week 10.

What a shame this went to shit. Another reason for me to go to soil and forget hydro.

on a side note, I made a mother plant out of all the phenos so I can run them again.

looking good, ive got a few gorilla in by dinafem too. not long now and yours will be ready for the chop. i would deffo try coco, or soil. under your cob led set up i think you could get some nice crops. ive run organic bio bizz nutes in coco before with good results, i never even tested the ph, just fed them the same amount as my girls in soil. the end product was spot on taste wise too. so coco is not dead of micos. and can be used with organics. ive seen a few of mrcanuksgrows on youtube too. :headbang:

Hey mark,

Thanks for stopping by. I have harvested at week 10 of flower, my teams were too high so I had some major fox tailing.

The buds are on day 4 of curing.

The OG kush is amazing. I love it and will grow it again.

Gorilla yielded much more but is not my kind of plant. My setup doesn't allow for that much stretch.

1oz of Og kush and 6 Oz of gorilla.

Next up is Chocolate mint OG Auto in my new setup as discussed previously in this thread. Much better ;)
