Cracking seeds in Coco ?

personally I soak seeds in plain water for about 2-4hours and then plant directly in pre charged coco with a low EC charge of around 0.6EC (my water is 0.2EC)

 

haven’t used root stimulators etc since around 2015 when my Dutch pro Take Root ran out and I decided to not buy any more. 
 

Personally I didn’t notice much of a difference. 
 

pre soak in plain water 2-4 hours 

pre charge coco with 0.6EC of base A/B

plant seed in a small hole in the coco (not too deep)

place under small T5/LED/CFL etc on 18/6 cycle and wait. 
 

 

usually 4 days and the first cotyledons begin to come up.

fully agree. 
 

i make a little dent and then brush over some coco to fill the “dent” and press it down slightly.
