Well here we go. Only the 2nd diary I’ve done on here.
Im in a 1.5 x 1.5 roof cube.

It’s going to be in compost using biobizz nutes. I like to keep it as simple as possible really. Just grow and bloom. Probably some Epsom salts.
I planted 20 OGC on 21/08/19 into a BioBizz light mix seed tray after being in tepid water for 36 hours

large.E9EFE0F1-5796-45E1-BC1E-6335BE48BB62.jpeg

They had popped their heads up 3 days later under a t5. Only 15 of the 20 popped but that’s plenty for me that is.

I try and do 2 or 3 grows a year which leaves me with plenty of smoke for me and missus.
This is them at maybe a week to 10days old after being potted up into 3 inch pots

I potted them up again and this was them on the 9th of September just after watering. I also put them under two 315w cmh’s and they’re doing really well.

Potted up into final 6.5l pots on 21/09/19 and left them to root out the pots before switching.

this is them maybe 5 days later starting to fill the canopy nicely. No trimming or nothing yet. I’ve just been tucking the fan leaves under and there’s quiet a few tops forming

I flipped on the 26/09/19 and turned on the other 2 cmhs so they’re now under 4, one in each corner (obviously ) haha

This is them a couple of days ago which brings us up to date. large.3513DFA8-AFD8-4259-893D-3B2A3BFB8975.jpeglarge.9D0DE403-56BF-437D-B358-3625E52004C6.jpeg

I’ve give them a couple of feeds of 1ml/l grow and 1ml/l bloom which was upped Thursday to 2ml/l bloom. Being fed about 2 litres every 2 days. Temp is a steady 26c on 20c lights off.
So impressed with these plants so far and they’re already giving off a rich smell.

Going to give them a proper trim over the next few days taking off all the under growth.

Thanks for looking in. I’m still quite a noob so any input or advice is much appreciated

I have never fed bloom to a plant before 3 weeks into flower but everyone is different and every grow is different. @Owderb I am sure will keep you on the right track :yep:

Whereas I start introducing bloom at trace levels 2 to 3 weeks before I flip to help guard against burn when you do up the bloom levels at flowering time lol different strokes and all that but also everyone's environment is different and ambient conditions are random.

@KarlPilkington1 your doing a grand job mate, real healthy and good growth,so congrats.

Cheers for the advice. They were looking a bit pale as well but they’ve perked up since.

@polo71 I’ve got some fishmix as well but not needed it. I’ve read owderbs diary a few times mate. Brilliant read and learnt a lot from it. Keep it simple is what he says. Cheers for the help

My feeding schedule is based on@oldtimer1 biobizz routine and it hasn’t let me down yet

oldtimer1 quote “Once you are on 12/12 start feeding 1 ml of both grow and bloom to a litre of water.

At about week 2 of flowering change the mix to 1 ml grow and 2 ml bloom per litre.

At week 3 [21 days] a one off feed of a heaped table spoon of epsom salts per 10 litres add to that 1 ml of grow and 2 ml of bloom.

Round the 4 week mark, the mix is 1ml gr and 3 ml bl.

Once you start to see browning of pistils change to 2 ml gr and 1 ml bl keep with that till the end.

All you really need is grow and bloom + a little epsom salts.

Does this make sense?“

cheers

Looking very healthy Karl,

for the sake of the diary Karl would you record the height of plants each week for the 1st 3 weeks of flower so any future OGC growers know what stretch to expect?

Wish you all the best bud

Thanks so much for doing a fully detailed write up to this point mate ;)

By the look of things the plants look stunning and with the power available this should be quite an eventful flower show  :headbang:

11 day's into bloom and looking good ;)

Let's see how you handle our Ocean Grown Cookies in full flower mode  :yep:

I like what I see so far

All the best  :bong:

Day 14 flower

2.5ml bloom 1ml grow

temps 26c/20c

So I was gonna wait to give them a trim until stretch was over but they’ve slowed down a bit now. Not finished going up yet but enough. Plus, I thought I’d do it Sunday cos I’m goosed through the week from work. So I’ve trimmed the lot Sunday night and had a bit of a tidy up

large.28A0E7CF-A497-40CF-BF5E-D6DCCF700D7B.jpeglarge.1EF2BE4C-C835-40AC-9C8B-2E3272E901F5.jpeg

I’ve just give them a feed tonight and upped the bloom to 2.5ml cos they was looking a little pale for me.  This is them tonight with little buds staring to form

@Leafneck how’s it going pal. They’ve stretched about 25-30cm roughly so far and they range from 70-80cm tall which is good for my roof cube.
@The Padawan we started this shit together mate. Can’t see either of us stopping anytime soon. How’s them chem dog coming along? Upped the temps?

alright @Dinafem-Mark out of 15 plants, I’d say 12 of them are pretty much identical in height and structure which is pretty impressive. How they smoke as good as they are to grow

Brilliant update, I found mine started producing the bud sites around 14 days too.

Very easy to manage the stretch too.

I found out of my 8 plants there was only around 150mm difference between Tallest and shortest but a little super cropping gave me a fairly even canopy.

Really enjoying your diary Karl, keep up the good work

Everyone who's tried our Ocean Grown Cookies has loved her mate :yep:

Heavy hitting, full on gas flavour with one pheno with the other being more cookie dominant and imo tastes like cookies and cream with a hint of OG gas :headbang:

Looks like yours are getting there stretch on with plenty of budsites starting to show ;)

Getting interesting in here  :yep:

All the best  :bong:
