Jacks magic, Any good

I used Jack's for years, and found it worked well with ~10% coco added (made it compact way less and stopped it repelling water when it got a bit dry on top). Did hold a fair amount of water though so had to be careful to not water too heavily after potting up.

I used jacks for ages until I ended up with a load bug from a load and  then the supply around here dried up a bit so must of been a bad batch but was very good as said have to fluff it up and not over water in it

These were all done in jacks and perlite.

G’day mate lol what did you add to the Jack’s magic besides perlite? Or was it purely the Jacks magic and perlite with rainwater? I’m using this stuff this year 80/20 Jacks and perlite mix for some Autoflowers and was wondering if you added anything later on as a top dress like SOP or FBB? I don’t want to make the soil too hot for my autos considering my their short life. The jacks has 4-5 weeks feed so I’ll be starting off and delicately transplanting from coco into the jacks after around 10 days hoping not to burn any like last time lol i’ll not be feeding anything till week 7 so they use up all that’s in the soil before I too dress if I even need to? I’m so confused as Ozzy osbourne would say

That pic is a tray of clones in 9cm peat pots, which got planted into a plot shortly after.

I'm tempted to give Jack's Magic a run this season , my local garden centre has loads of it.

Was thinking of mixing  80/20 Coco to fluff it up a little , starting my auto seeds in cubes and then transfering into Jacks after a week or so. Sounds good? 🤔
