Zz does Lemonade OG and Sour Orange Diesel Vertical Style hps/cmh coco

Another week and all is well with these two.

The Lemonade is still not exhibiting any stretchiness, which suites me. 

She is giving out multi tips all over the gaff which is lovely. 

 

 

 

 

What I am doing is getting a yo yo on the front of the plant and pulling about half of her down . Basically to allow light into the centre of the plant more. 

 

 

This is working well for the lemonade as I really don't think she likes being in contact with the roof as I feel this slows her down. 

 

 

 

Here the Lemonade is to the right, pulled forwards and the corner one is also pulled over. 

 

Here you can really see most of the lemonade is now off the slanted ceiling. 

 

 

 

Then the Sour Orange Diesel , Healthy as , and im also pulling a bit of her down as well. 

 

 

Generally very happy with her at the moment , nice deep green and growing well. 

 

A bit of a pinching she has had from the start and she bounces back well, and is creating a criss cross of branches.

See ya next week , 7 weeks to go before the flip. 

I will probably do a bit of aggressive topping at the 4 week mark.

This gives plenty of time for recovery and a load of young new shoots that it will provide.

So another week of veg and the Lemonade OG has really benefitted from being pulled forwards and is growing at a decent pace now. 

Could be the extra heat this week as ive been up to 28 29 lights on up till midday when they go off for 6 hours. 

 

 

 

Of course im still learning my room but I think pulling the plant over and allowing her to bush up is the way forwards . 

 

To the right of the picture ive got most of the lemonade pulled right over and attached at the pot. 

 

Ive left a few bits of her high.

But may pull her down slightly off the roof. 

 

Im still pinching her out and she is still giving me multi heads . Very healthy and growing well. 

 

 

The Sour Orange Diesel is doing her thing. I keep attaching bits of her to the beam going up and she is growing quite well. 

 

Maybe she has reached maturity or something because her leaves are starting to take on quite a dark green. 

She is also growing a bit faster now. 

 

You see that tall shoot just to the right in front of the timer. That is what I want and will surely get when she flips. I want her to stretch herself across the top of the doorway and join up with Green Poison on the other side so by the end of veg and the first couple of weeks of flowering to resemble the inside of an igloo with just a space or door for me to crawl into. 

 

From this angle you can see what I want to achieve as ive started the process. You can really see how far ive pulled them forwards from their pots. 

 

Ive screwed in plenty of hooks right down that beam and im using them as anchors to hold everything in place. 

The bottom right you can see how I do it, just a bit of bendy rubber covered wire and a hook made on one end to loosely hold the branch. 

 

once im flowering and the stretch is over and im dealing with cola placement I may well use the wires on the slanty roof to hold them up and position everything in that bowl shape with everything in max light. 

 

6 weeks to flowering maybe less im not sure how long my flowering room will go as she is 6 weeks in but may only go 8 0r 9 weeks, instead of my predicted 10 weeks.

nice grow for that space mate, your using it up a treat growing them sideways, the shoot that is long by the timer, will look cool when in bud growing over the doorway. 

i have 2 sour orange d's with my zkittzos about to go in my tent at last. they smell well sweet/ fruity like the zkittzo's. 

il pull up a chair for this grow zztopbudzz mate.

Yeh its gonna look a bit different than normal id say. 

Cant wait to see and smell some of these flavours. 

Id say 5 weeks the earliest I can flip them.

This heatwave we are having just wont let up , but touch wood , im surviving even with temps up around 30 most of the time. 

The plants in this room still next to the 400 aint looking to bad. No heat stress really and they are really loving the warm temps. 

Just to the right is the lemonade OG that really looks healthy , big leaves are coming out now and she is beginning to go a bit darker. 

 

 

Here is more like the colour she is now and she is still loving being pulled over . 

 

Ive sort of made her into 2 tiers, half pulled down and half left high but still pulled down a bit off the ceiling. 

 

Very healthy , growing lovely , cant wait for 12/12

Branching out and growing really well. 

 

Still plenty of room to be trained over the door , im expecting a decent stretch but lighting from the side does considerably reduce it. 

 

She don't look bad considering the temps , but ive got plenty of airflow from the 8 inch fan. 

 

Looking in from the door , its all bushing forwards nicely. 

 

The Sour Diesel Orange from below , I want to pull her back a bit and attach to that white pipe or some new wires.

But she will end up trained over the door. 

 

I can just about start to visualise this lot flowering, colas all over the show.

hi mate. them are looking a picture of health. as you say with this heat were having at the min, there growing like it aint even fussed them in the slightest.  

big up paniks cooking man, the zkittzo's i think are gonna be banging smoke. im getting some funky smells of one of my sour orange d's too.

Cheers Smokie , you are right brother in the nearer it gets to 30 and above the more these strains wanna grow faster. 

Im starting to slightly shit it that I may now be in the realms of too much veg and I cant flip till the other room is clear. 

Anyway I will be busy during the stretch tying these down im sure. 

Cant wait to smell the flavours.

Just perfect growth from both of these strains as they seem to really love the high temps. 

The lemonade is still staying quite short and is giving like hundreds of growing tips .

Ive been pinching her out and for this baby its working a treat. 

 

To the right the sour Orange Diesel has all grown up and is growing quite rapid now. 

 

Im starting to get enough length on these shoots to begin to secure them to the white pipe and gently persuade her to the right. 

 

She has plenty of growing tips and im sure she will yield nicely if she doesn't ruin me with her stretch. 

 

Again the SOD has really taken off with this high heat and so far she is quite manageable. 

 

If I had somewhere to put my rooting and rooted clones from this room I would probably flip now but I have to hold tight till the other room is clear.
