Get you input in @JamJar @cocopips @botanics Kind regards Mark.. 1 strain for everyone .. time restricted to allow a bit of leeway for a few later starters maybe due to current requirements .. no idea on strains ..but indica heavy suits pot noodles and makes it harder for those who aint used to confined root spaces .. internal judging ..your comp ..you judge .. max 50 ..youll probably get 50 ,10 wont show ,10 will start but not finish ,10 will disappear near the end so it whittles down to a top ten anyway which makes judging adoddle .. but will you judge on yield ,style of grow or just a personal private preference ? 7 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is where feedback is needed 1 strain for everyone? I this is the most fair.. But maybe there could be few different categories... Photo Auto CBD Time limited? Definitely.. It would be good if everyone starts at exactly the same time.. What strain/strains? Voted for seems like a fun way.. I have never done a pot noodle grow but would doing autos throw a little more challenge into the mix? 1 plant or multiple? 1 shot... I think Community judging or internal at HSO? HSO picks out the top few.. Community decides the winner.. How many players/growers? Upto HSO.. Either do one big free for all loads of players working towards the same goal... Or you have limited players in different categories : Largest yielding? Tallest plant? Widest plant? Smallest? Maybe not..it seems kind of pointless... But was just thinking would only work with autos... If an auto was chosen for the strain and it unfortunately flowered very early... This category would give an incentive to carry on with the grow instead if pulling out of the competition. Most inventive use of modified pot noodle pot? .. (Mini bubbler, mini airpot, upside down grow, etc) This comp could also be extended further to indoor, greenhouse, outdoor garden, window sill. Boojum Posted March 31, 2018 Share Posted March 31, 2018 I'm never gonna enter any competition, cos I don't take pics of my awful attempts at growing, never mind post them online. But my idea of a competition is first time growers. Provide the seeds and give advice on lighting, nutes etc. Then everyone do a diary. And (this is perhaps the fail on the idea) - nobody wins or loses. Just see how everyone grows - the fails can get good advice, the successes give an idea to other new growers. Also I would want just a pot with medium with a few holes for drainage, no roots to grow out of the pot. As for training I could see it being interesting how many different methods turn out. As for judging I would say doing it on weight might be unfair, as some people are running kilowatts and others are still on much smaller scale. I would also have a start window of say 2 weeks with notice,to start in once everyone was prepped. If using photos would 12/12 straight from seed?
