Gerfish
Like the title asks, Dinafem website says "Genetics/Composition: Indica Predominances" But also says "It is a mid-sized Sativa-leaning strain with a tough and slightly open structure" Just curious as this little lady will be grown out and smoked irrespective of the answer. She's tough as nails. 1 of only 3 seedlings that survived a heater failure. 16 fatalities, and 2 in ICU. The Critical Cheese? Topped and cloned at node 3 and ready to pot up from her 4" pot
uBercaMeL
Well the exodus cut is a funny combo of the two (short, branchy plants with not much stretch, but calyxes that stack like a sativa)..Smokes like an indica-dom hybrid tho.Critical is a big bud selection, which iirc was a pretty even hybrid (the pheno/s that were good in the 90s/early 2000s were sativa leaning (tall and stretchy). I'd say it was quite typically 'hybrid', or slightly indica leaning smoke wise too, though not near as foggy as cheese. The critical cheese I've tried (smoke only) was basically just a bigger, blander cheese. e2a- indi dom hybrid, unless you get a lucky outlier. Gerfish
Thanks @@uBercaMeL She's an emergency gap filler. I was just wondering how fast she'll veg. She's on a quick schedule in a tent full of sativas, and a few days behind 😁 Dinafem are my go to fems for gap fillers, as I have no veg area. Never let me down.

Hello, sorry for my late reply Critical cheese will make a great addition and should catch up to the other plants quite fast. She does have 2 main phenos which do grow very similar just the bud structure, taste and development is different. She still has the cheese smell and taste but dialed down slightly with a much better yield than our cheese. It has made a great cross, full of flavour and a very easy to manage strain Let us know how you go on mate🖒 All the best Mark.
Gerfish
Thank You, for being so quick @@Dinafem-Mark You must have a pretty big backlog to clear after Christmas. I'm looking forward to growing her out. She had a very rocky start, being one of only 2 survivors to survive a heater failure, when she was less than 10 day's old. 15 other seedlings weren't so hardy... I'm thinking of a diary, more for my own benefit than anyone else's 😁 And I'll certainly pop up a few pics. She's a tough little lady... And that's her on the left with the other survivor onthe right.

samhigh
ive got 2 of these girls going about 30 days of 12/12. they grow more sativa, more space in between nodes branching really strong stretches x 2 or more, medium to thinner leaves. she reminds me of the cindy 99 growing but will she smoke like an indica, will find out in a few weeks but from all the reports ive read most say shes more sativa in effect. cant wait to find out. anyone with height concerns strongly think about topping or lst, supercropping etc....... zero
I think you may find as the plants gets bigger it will look more on the Sat side than it does now ....its a strange trade off between leaf shape and overall plant structure Edited January 19, 2017 by zero
