can we defend ourselves using the very act which the want to try us under? it says any drug which is harmful should be controlled, there is plenty of evidence that cannabis is comparatively harmless.

you get me?

Unfortunately the government doesn't use 'evidence' to schedule or control drugs. Not the real evidence anyway. David Nutt is testament to that :(

If you ever go to court say nothing but yes no and sorry. You start giving it why you think it should be legal they throw the book at you. My mate tried to argue his point it didn't go well.

If this is a drug war an I then considered a victim of war?

Been there, got that t shirt. What happens is the judges listen to your argument (if you're lucky), go and have a brew and then come back, read your argument out to you to give the impression that they've considered it and then politely tell you to fuck off.

No... Because moral has no place in modern justice.

These people are where they are to keep the status quo, not dish out justice.

The best thing one can do IMO is just bite their lip and pretend to bend to their will. You don't become a Judge because you like to have your opinion changed... ;)

morals can get you anywhere sometimes. my wife has Ms, and after reading about a lady using cannabis to help with her Ms my wife started smoking it daily, is no doubt it helped. 1st time i was bust for growing i admitted growing for my wife but they never charged me with supplying, judge was harsh with words but soft with sentence, second time i made them charge me with supplying, solicitor used a law where breaking the law to save extreme harm or death, jury was instructed to find me guilty but they sympathised and went against him, even though i got a not guilty they still came again a few years later, solicitor tells me the law they used last time was gone they changed the law, and the cannabis specialist had been given a government job, you can fight the system but you will never win the war.

I'll say yes, and no. But NEVER, EVER will I apologise for growing and using Cannabis. I have nothing to be "sorry" about.

It is still lodged in my mind the letter a woman wrote to one of the national rags asking the (fairly logical imo) question after brexit of whether she could now be allowed to switch her UK passport for one issued by a country that was still within the EU, like NL for instance.

You could mention that as well lol

It's like vinegar coming out your mouth if I can avoid I will but it mean I blag less of a sentence for being 'remorseful' then I will. Tell them what they want to hear as long as you know deep down your not sorry haha I know I ain't ;)

Spot on, also technically wouldn't it be perjury?

That point seems to be overlooked by many people these days in the rush to jettison their principles, assuming they ever had any.

It's everyone's decision how they live their life but we all have to live with our choices :yinyang:
