Planta pablo Posted November 7, 2013 Share Posted November 7, 2013 One problem with the gels is over time their viscosity can diminish, when new the gel is quite gloopy and thick yet with time it turns runny and will run off your cutting stem quicker. Just by a new small pot of clonex everytime you take cuts. Link to comment

hinky999 Posted November 8, 2013 Share Posted November 8, 2013 Yep clonex is good I do give my cutting a bit of a scrape on the bottom of the stem before dipping them in the gel and I use rootriot blocks .. and I pop them in an unheated propagator under a 150w m/h lamp roots in a week in most cases keeping the cuttings nice and damp job dun Link to comment
